Delicious food. We had a large group (10)which was difficult for the staff.

When I got there, it had a nice little atmosphere and the waitress seemed nice, but don't let it fool you. The first salsa was okay, definitely too much tomato that overpowered the taste with very little spice, and the bean dip tasted like it was from a can from Walmart. I went ahead and asked for a spicier salsa, chicken fajitas, and my date ordered the Carne speciality plate and sopaipillas. After ordering the food took a little while for what didn't seem like a busy place, and when it came out, it also came out with the spicier salsa that was ordered about 40 min beforehand. The "spicy" salsa tasted fishy, like actual fish, and had no spice. The fajita plate also had cheese on top of it, which seemed different than normal fajitas. Also came with a side of Mexican rice and more beans. The chicken tasted good, but everything else is another matter. The vegetables with the fajitas, bell pepper (red and green) and onion was bland. The Carne asada was rubbery, and park of the Carne asada steak on the side tasted bad. After we were done eating, about 15 min later we had to ask for the sopaipillas. The dessert was the best part of the whole experience. Service was terrible, hardly had the waitress come by and check on us or offer refills. Had to ask a different waitress for our dessert. Also the place is pretty pricey for the food offered, when taking nearby Mexican food restaurants, that make better food for lower prices and offer better service. The real kicker was a sign on the window stating "A party of 5 or larger, will have a tip added to the bill." Honestly with that kind of service, a tip isn't the first thing on the customer's mind.

Staff was congenial but not overly friendly. Food was very tasty. Flavors were very well put together and a nice amount of spice.

Tacos al carbon and corn tortilla tacos. Food was great with large portions. Bean dip and salsa with chips are complimentary. Chips were hot and delicious. Place is in downtown with street parking. I'd definitely eat here again.

Mi Tierra is located in downtown Twin Falls. Downtown is a cute little area with many shops & restaurants & breweries to choose from. The furniture at Mi Tierra is a little outdated; our booth had a pretty big tear on one of the cushions. Regardless, we we're greeted & served by very friendly & attentive staff. We ordered Triple Meat Fajitas, and El Patron Especial. The fajitas were sizzling and the flavor was very good. The steak however was slightly over cooked. Tortillas were tasteful & warm but not homemade. Rice, beans & salsa were served as a side and were delicious. The patron especial is Carne Asada with Shrimp plate and your sides of rice, beans & guacamole. I ordered the shrimp ala diabla style. I was disappointed in the ala diabla sauce as it's a very fiery sauce made from dried up chiles however this dish was not spicy at all. Overall the food had great flavors & spices.
Mi Tierra is a very nice place with delicious food! Some of the dishes they offer I have never seen offered by other Mexican restaurant, which is super exciting as you get to try something quiet different. The service is also great and portions are huge fire the price!

Their homemade horchata is so good. We loved everything we had today, from the chips and salsa to the mixed fajitas and carne asada tacos! If we were local, we’d be there regularly.

This place has the best, and most authentic, Mexican food that I've found in Idaho, thus far. If spice/heat is what you want, they can deliver; but they have mild dishes as well. The portions are huge. The staff do a great job. I just keep going back.

I liked it- went for dinner after skating. The chips and salsa they bring out while you order and wait for your food was good, though my husband thought it wasn't spicy enough, but I enjoyed it and the waitress kept our chips well-stockedThe serving sizes were huge and I not only had a tasty dinner that night, but a tasty lunch the next day
