This is fantastic sushi and we were also impressed with the sashimi! Great flavours, very fresh. Simple restaurant but service was great and the owner was really lovely.

The food here is always amazing—delicious and well-prepared, which is why we chose this place over Nara. However, the service this time was disappointing. We literally asked if we could eat here but they said yes..The gentleman in the back was friendly, but the female server was unexpectedly harsh. We arrived a bit before closing, and while we understand the staff might be tired, since I personally also work at a restaurant, although her abrupt "no" when we asked about a dish felt uncalled for and the fact it felt like she threw the menu, and utensils at us. We get that it’s a long shift, but shouldn’t hostility be prioritized? We'll return for the food, but hope for better service next time.

Been on a road trip for a bit and wanted something different. Found this place and was excited. No sushi bar at this restaurant. Staff was to the point. Sushi came out quickly and was large cuts. Overall a good experience. The rolls were loose but that does not bother me. If I was back in the area I would stop again. Place was not crowded during the week around 7pm. However, it did look like they had a brisk take-out business. Parking is easy in the strip mall lot.

An ok place to get some Japanese fare.
Came here for dinner on a work trip. I'm a big fan of Japanese food so I was excited to try this place. I ordered a Maki roll and two Nigiri varieties. The Maki was good, with some good flavors. The Nigiri had ok flavor, but the composition could have been better and the rice was bland. The water that came with my food tasted very strongly of chlorine as well.
However, this didn't detract from what was otherwise a decent meal. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly, and even convinced me to get another roll when I was done. This didn't take much since the portions weren't huge. If you're coming in hungry, definitely order plenty of food, probably at least two rolls. The second Maki roll was OK, but kinda bland tasting and not cut evenly. It fell apart easily.
Definitely not the best I've been to, but not the worst either. I might come back but not my first choice.

I’ve been coming here for years and years and I LOVE it. Easily the best sushi in town. It’s consistently clean and timely. The staff are always friendly and the owner is so sweet. I like the atmosphere compared to other local sushi restaurants because it’s quiet and good if you want to hear whoever you came with. Love it here.

We’ve been going here for years and I’m sad to say this place has gone downhill so bad. It used to be our favorite spot but when I went the other day, it was an awful experience, and gross food. The bathroom was filthy, the cooks were going right out front to smoke cigarette’s and just tossing them in the parking lot. The waitress wasn’t very friendly, she also had headphones in which to me is rude. The floors were not clean, had napkins and left over food laying around. I noticed when the cook went to the restroom he definitely wasn’t in there long enough to have washed his hands properly. The fish had a rotten smell to it. Just a horrible experience. This was once such a nice little restaurant, now it’s just another dive.
Very clean!!

I have no idea what other people ate here, but this arguably one of the worst sushi places I've had, and definitely not the best sushi place in Twin. They don't season their rice (usually it's salt, sugar, rice vinegar) which actually matters a lot. The seaweed salad was max 1/3 seaweed and the rest poorly seasoned cucumber. It was just not good. Fish didn't taste particularly fresh but that's to be expected in Idaho. But it isn't hard to season rice, nor actually put seaweed in your seaweed salad. The service was nice, the ambience as well. But definitely not worth your time if you've ever had sushi outside of Idaho.

We have eaten here a handful of times it’s a nice atmosphere and good service however, this time the tuna was not a nice chunk of meat. It was in a blended or processed state and looked to be squeezed from a tube. This is not good practice in my opinion. It gives a very strange texture to the meat. They let us order it and didn’t say a word. Sadly we won’t be going back.
