We did a big skiing road trip from Alberta thru the states in 2023 and while we stayed in Victor to ski Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole, we came here on a whim for breakfast. I had a French toast dish that I still think about to this day. Loved it here and we can't wait to (hopefully) have an opportunity to come back someday for another breakfast or two!

The reviews are true! This place ROCKS! Traveled from SLC to visit the tetons and jackson and stopped here on our way home. Our waitress, Stephanie, was so sweet, caring, and fun! She gave great recommendations, checked in with us throughout, and even offered us a coffee for the drive back home on the way out the door. We got the chilaquiles and the biscuits and gravy and both were absolutely phenomenal. The space is small so expect a wait. Ours was only about 20 minutes but the quaint atmosphere, stellar services, and delicious food make it all worth the wait!

If you are fortunate enough to find yourself in Victor, Idaho, you must visit Butter. The food is absolutely out of this world—every bite was incredible and clearly made with so much care. Just as impressive as the food is the staff: genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive, making the entire experience unforgettable. Butter is the kind of place that turns a great trip into an amazing one. Can’t recommend it enough!

My wife and I go to Butters all the time. Their burritos are so amazing. The waitresses there are always super kind and have a sense of humor. 10/10 recommended

Leaving Jackson on our way to Idaho Falls and we stopped in Victor for this spot. My family has gone here before without me and they said it’s a must so we did on our trip over the summer.

Came at around 11 AM on a Saturday and they were a little busy but we managed to get a table. Our waitress was SUPER nice and attentive to our table.

I got the Carnivore’s Burrito as my entree and also went the extra mile to get it smothered in gravy. Overall, I was at a loss for words. This was hands down the best burrito I’ve ever eaten. The eggs and bacon were cooked great, the tortilla was soft and held together well and the gravy was out of this world. It was indeed a HUGE burrito and I was unable to finish it all.

Overall, if you’re passing through Victor, you HAVE to stop at Butter. It is worth it. I’ll be back.

Love this great little cafe and bistro. Unique dishes, well prepared and more food than one person's could possibly eat by themselves. We'll be back next year Butter.
Thanks for the great food and excellent service.

Came to explore Idaho over my birthday weekend and found this charming, historic, café. The food was delicious! I had the quesabirria and had nothing but the highest praise for the tenderness of the beef and the flavors of the dipping broth was insanely GOOD! Stephanie, our waitress, was sweet and attentive! Super glad we stopped in to dine here! Highly recommend!

This place was cozy and friendly. We were greeted the time that we walked in and tables were available all around. My husband got the breakfast tacos (3 of them and they are huge) and he loved them! I got the pancakes and egg sandwich. It was a croissant with egg, cheese and bacon. It was one of the best sandwiches that I've had and I'm from the South where flavor is everywhere! 10 out of 10 recommend
