"I stopped by Knotty Pine in Victor, ID, and was thoroughly impressed! This hidden gem serves up delicious burgers, sandwiches, and salads in a cozy, rustic atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who made me feel right at home.

The food was outstanding - I opted for the signature Knotty Pine Burger, and it did not disappoint. The patty was cooked to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.

But what truly sets Knotty Pine apart is its authentic, small-town charm. From the wooden decor to the warm fireplace, every detail feels genuine and welcoming.

If you're passing through Victor or looking for a local favorite that also has healthy food options for every diet, Knotty Pine is an absolute must-visit. I'll be back!"

Awesome restaurant! The bison meatloaf is fantastic!

Parking: Parking is tight and can only back in street side. If it’s full you’ll be walking a block or so.

Great bison burger and burnt ends!
They have gluten-free buns.

There is a KCBS banner hanging outside which made me believe that BBQ would be a sound choice for family dinner options.

However, 5 out of 6 plates came out with sawdust ribs and/or dry pot roast brisket. Even more disappointing - the waitress assured me “they smoke their meats everyday”. So it appears to be a problem with their chefs.

Credit to the servers who made it right, and offered substitutions for those who were unsatisfied.

Positives: Brisket Burnt Ends and the Mac n Cheese were fantastic. The bison meatloaf was super tender. The service was very accommodating.

Negatives: Bootleather pork ribs, cardboard brisket, false-flying KCBS banner.

This place has a really great outdoor eating area. They have a pretty varied menu and some good beers.

The best thing about our visit to the Knotty Pine was our waitress, Gabby. When we got our meals, the different items were anywhere from hot to cold. The baked beans were very hot, the pulled pork was cold, the brisket and Mac & cheese were warm. A different woman had brought our meals out to us, not Gabby.

When Gabby asked us how they were we told her and she asked what we wanted her to do to make it right, then suggested we start over and she took our plates. She didn’t make any excuses, offer any explanation, or try to make us feel uncomfortable. She brought us new meals and everything was steaming hot. One of the sides was wrong but she caught that and brought us the correct side immediately, also leaving the incorrect side as an extra.

We thanked her and let her know how much we appreciated her exchanging our meals. She said it was no problem and said she wants us to enjoy our food. She was very sincere and matter-of-factly about it.

I tip for service and this was totally awesome service. I don’t give every server 20% because that’s what the food industry decided I should do. Gabby got over 20% because she made us feel comfortable and made our dinner out a great experience!! 🙂🙂

We went after a long day of fishing to get some dinner and a beer. My friend had the bison meatloaf and he said it was the best meatloaf he's ever had. I had the two meat bbq plate and it was quite tasty. The brisket looked a little dry, but was actually quite good. The mac and cheese was good as well.

Cool, quaint shop (restaurant and bar) with very good home cooking. We had the bison meatloaf, rainbow trout and bison burger, all of which we recommend. Also good selection of local beers.

The place was pretty packed when I came in, and the atmosphere was that of a sports bar. Lighting was dim inside, and there was plenty of seating outdoors as well. One thing that was pretty noticeable was that there was only one waitress for the outside and one for the inside, which seemed a little strange to me, given how many tables there were. I ordered a meat combo - ribs, sausage, and brisket - I want to say. Service was decent, but with how many customers she had, the server seemed to only be able to spend a couple seconds with each customer. Food was great, though, and it's 100% recommended!
