Stayed at a hotel a block away. They told me this place was good. I rode 9hrs on a motorcycle today! Good was a drastic understatement! The filet mignon was cooked to perfection as medium rare! OMG!!! The chef packed in the flavor which I did not think possible! This is hands down one of the top 3 steak dinners I have ever had!!! The chef put the right amount of kosher salt and the herbs on top were a perfect blend! The mashed potatoes did not need salt and they too were packed...
Pretty good food. We like stronger flavours than is typical. The coleslaw in the chicken schnitzel had capers and jalapeños. That was nice. My muffeleta sandwich could use stronger olives. The desserts were very good and different. I liked the overall uniqueness of the cafe.
Came in for lunch while in town for work and sat at the counter. Was pleased to see some menu items available in half sizes. The food was great and the staff is attentive. Will definitely return when I’m back in town.
