“We have been coming here for 3 years and have had both outstanding food and outstanding service from the amazing people working there! We have always been made to feel welcome, which is saying something since every time we’ve been there we have had a toddler with us. I truly can’t say enough good about this wonderful restaurant!”

“For our anniversary we escaped the ordinary and ducked out to Wallace for the weekend. My husband and I both love Mexican food, so this was our lunch date spot Saturday... Man oh man the food was sooooo good, and the drinks amazing! strawberry jalapeno margarita is now a top 5 (ever) drink for my husband!! We even went back the next day, even though we had planned to check out another place lol. Justice, our server, was awesome! friendly, knowledgeable, made sure our experience was the best it could be!”

“Rave: The Spragpole Bar and Museum in Murray, Idaho was outstanding today!!! Wife had the Patty Melt and I had the Almquist Burger. Hands down the best flavored burger I have ever eaten, and wife said the patty melt is her new favorite sandwich! If you’ve not been, it’s only about 20 minutes from Kingston and 20 minutes from Wallace. You won’t regret it… The new owners, Eric and Kippie are so personable, sharing stories of the area which is rich in mining history. Even told us where the house was just 3 miles down the road where Wyatt Earp and his brother lived before being run out of town. I love that they’re a husband and wife soul proprietorship that are working so hard to make their customers happy, and ensuring that people have a great experience at their place! If you haven’t been, it’s a beautiful scenic drive, no matter how you drive to Murray, and it will leave a great taste in your mouth!”

“This place changed hands again this summer. The place no longer has a kitchen, but the owner is doing amazing things on the outdoor cooker. I had a jerk chicken sandwich, hubby had the pulled pork. Both were delicious with homemade bbq sauce and cole slaw. Drinks were outstanding. We'll be back.”

“We stayed the weekend at the Brooks just to get out of town. Check in was a breeze even though it was late. I’ve seen some negative reviews but honestly, what I see here is a hard working family, preserving a family legacy with a lot of blood, sweat , tears and hard work. They are fixing this place up, one room at a time. The restaurant was so good and the employees are super friendly and happy. I always look for places like this when I’m going somewhere. It’s much more of an adventure than a chain hotel. This Mother-daughter team are working long, hard hours to refurbish this old building but still preserving the historic Beauty of it. I’ll go back here regularly.”

“OMG the Mountain Man Nachos! They were So good! I am not a person who tolerates spicy food so I was a little leery of the red pepper queso and the chipotle ranch that came with the nachos. I opted for the red pepper queso because.....well it was queso! ?. I asked for regular ranch instead of the chipotle ranch and of course it was no problem. I LOVED THESE NACHOS! They were so good. Not much to say about the service, very attentive and accommodating. Prices were reasonable.I did not take part in any wine because I am not a wine drinker, but.....They have like 40 different wines in what I can only describe as a vending machine of sorts. They give you a card and it is linked to your bill. You insert the card in one of the dispensers and pick which wine you would like. I think the dispensers will deliver 1 oz, 3 oz, or 6 oz pours. I could be wrong about the 6 oz, it might be 8 oz. I don't remember exactly. It was a pretty cool idea I must say. Never seen one of those before.”
