The restaurant has nice big windows that allow lots of sunlight inside. The service was slow. I wasn’t attended to until after 5 minutes of being seated. There was a woman server training a young lady and they both seemed to spend most of the time in the pass/kitchen. The food was bland and the hasbrowns were not fresh and they tasted like they were from a freezer box. When I went up to pay, I gave a 15% tip (which I thought was fair all things considered) and the woman turned around and I think she thought I wouldn’t be able to hear when she said “15% is not a good tip” to the young lady. She walked away and I was shocked at her audacity. I hope the young lady learns to be a better server than the woman who was training her. I’m a server on my way to work at Disney World so I know what good service looks like.

Really good breakfast! Omelets are awesome... Pancakes are awesome.... Always hot and fresh of the griddle. It's consistently good . Always the same, always fast, nice size breakfasts. That's huge anymore. It seems like most places are hit and miss anymore. This place.... You know you'll get what you did last time, Everytime.

This place is horrible. I walked in at 9:30 and stood for 5 minutes for someone to greet me. Finally a woman walks out from the back carrying plates of food. She looks at me and says nothing so I ask her if I can sit anywhere? Her answer was "we've got about 15 minutes...yeah, sit anywhere"

This same thing happened to my wife and I about a year ago...same woman said the same thing. But we were hungry so we stayed
The food was so so and we felt like they couldn't wait for us to leave
Newsflash! Open til 10 means 9:30 is in time for breakfast

I PERSONALLY REALLY LIKE THE PLACE. FOOD IS GOOD, THE PRICE IS RIGHT . YES, IT ALWAYS SEEMS TO HAVE ONLY ONE WAITRESS, BUT I KEEP GOING BACK. CHEAPER THEN ANY OTHER PLACE HERE.

Food was good. Nothing to brag to anyone about but a decent place to have a nice quiet breakfast
I have been here once before and had a great experience. However this time not so much. The food was fair at best. The poor young gal that was working was doing five jobs at once on her own with no help. She lost many tables as they walked out due to the mess and chaos. When brought to Management's attention they seem to not care. They could have helped her for a short time and resolved the back up. I hope she finds a better job! Unfortunately I may not be back.

Food was okay. We arrived at 9:30 and were told they were only open for 30 minutes. We waited 10 minutes until we could order. Then the food came at 10:20. The waitress just ran around, which of course wasn't comfortable. Except at the beginning, the service was super friendly.

If you find yourself in Wallace Idaho I highly recommend this place. The breakfast is delicious and the portions are more than enough. There was a slight wait for the food but it was all worth since the food was made fresh and delicious. We had the Mac Daddy and the biker breakfast.

I was out of gas at Wallace inn/ Trailside cafe and they wouldn't loan me a gas can, the gas station is right next door. It took 2 employees to decide it was too risky. Thanks guys
