Love Tara’s place! Yummy food! Affordable prices and lovely staff!
I had a Philly sandwich. Best I’ve ever had in my life!! Had to take half home 😋 so I could have room for chocolate pie. Server was kind, friendly and happy.
I stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and was fortunate enough to have Teagan as my server. She was warm, personable, and eager to recommend menu items. Ultimately, I decided to order one of her recommended dishes: Strawberry French Toast. For my sides, she offered the perfect suggestions that really rounded out the meal and incorporated some flavors from other menu items I was considering. Tara's Place is an updated hometown diner that is clean and feels like a hometown cafe. The food is excellent and priced very well. Specific excellent dishes include the chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast, seasoned to perfection, the Patty Melt on grilled sourdough, and the flavorful wagyu burger. Tater tots can be made extra crispy and not oily. The food tastes fine and is reminiscent of restaurants from over 40 years ago, with excellent pies also noted. Servers are friendly, making guests feel welcome. It is worth a short drive for such excellent food.
