Food was not good - breakfast. With no other customers before us it still took 25 minutes for scrambled eggs. Eggs were overcooked and actually chopped up when they arrived. Hash browns were cold. 2 other tables came in after us and one was served before we were. Will not go back and definitely would not recommend.
I think Velma's Chicken Fried steak is the best I have had in year's and the prices are very reasonable.
Came down on a busy Friday evening to try the place out with the new owners, we both got the Captains Plate and the food was delicious! Perfectly cooked and plated beautifully. Big fresh salad that came before the meal, and tasty Iced Tea. The loaded smashed potato was my favorite part! The portions was huge, but the price was low. Good service, and quick. The menu is comfort diner style foods, but lots of tasty daily special’s. Highly recommend!
