Took 20 minutes just to get bread… took another half an hour for frozen shrimp, menu needs an update so customers know what they’re getting, Alfredo Pasta was very bland and not appetizing, ordered fries but after waiting an hour we just asked for the check, food was not worth the wait .

For being a steakhouse charging $75-100 a person, this place leaves a lot to be desired.
We were seated shortly after our reservation time, but then waited fifteen minutes to be acknowledged by a staff member.
The steaks themselves are overpriced.
Steaks come with “seasonal vegetables” which apparently means two…yes two…pieces of broccoli.
This is by far the nicest restaurant in the dump of a casino that it calls home, but it gives lipstick on a pig vibes. Would not dine here again.

We live on the lake close to the casino so we eat there a lot. This was our forth time at the Chinook.
I hate bad reviews but this place needs some help. Staff are alway great and the rest is always clean and inviting but the food is never good. We ate there last night and the Chicken Marsala had no flavor at all. We have an Idea, why not shorten the menu to fewer items and perfect them. Have a sample night and get honest opinions from your guests. We don’t want to loose the Chinook but imagine a place that’s so good people make it a destination restaurant. Everything is good except the food.

We went there for a 60th birthday celebration. Evidently there were only two servers working on a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy. The waiter was polite and doing all he could. Our appetizers and salads were great. Even though it took a really LONG time to get them.
Most of us ordered the prime rib for dinner. It took an hour to get our entrees and when they did arrive, they were COLD. And 5 of the 7 orders were wrong. The prime rib was dry and tough, with very little flavor. It was a very disappointing meal. The manager apologized, and offered free desserts for the table, which was nice. We asked for them to go, as we'd been there for almost two and a half hours at that point. They shorted us a dessert, but we didn't even bother asking for another one, we just wanted to leave. It was a truly awful meal. I feel the entire meal should have been comped, given all the problems. We won't be back again.

Have been wanting to give this venue another try. The previous visit was less than noteworthy. There wasn't notable improvement this time. Service was improved, but that is the extent of it. I started with a Bombay Sapphire martini. No one even so much as suggested "dirty", but the overwhelming presence of pure olive brine was enough for me to send it back. Apologies because "that's the way I always make it" were accepted. Ask next time. The salad was exceptional, the salmon chowder, not so much. A bowl of fish flesh covered with a weak broth does not a chowder make. The NW seafood pasta was asking and a miss. White sauce was tasteless, shrimp were pretty good, scallops an halibut were undercooked. Again, ask your diner. Not everyone feels what the chef thinks is done, is done. Green salad was great, especially the white balsamic poppyseed dressing. Broccoli was nice, better than average as were the garlic mashers. I have to give the prime rib a fail. It passed neither the appearance nor taste category. Fat content was about average but flavor was non-existent. The jus was no help. Overall, bang for buck, not a win for either of us. Really fortunate I didn't order a $70 rib steak.

Good food. A bit high priced. But I enjoyed myself and the opened bar. Our waitress was amazing.

Felix our server rocks it all the time!Food is pretty good for the most part.I would like to see expanded appetizers and entrees on the menu please. And the bread definitely needs upgrading like perhaps warm sourdough rolls, the whipped flavored butter is tasty.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been here and the worst experience so far, there won’t be a 4th visit. The food(chicken fettuccini)was an extremely small portion for $26, undercooked pasta, zero garlic flavor for being a garlic Alfredo sauce, chicken that had the texture of rubber(way overcooked)and the sauce had a very tart taste, almost as if burned. Service was horrible, no drink refills offered even though the waitress came to the table and left the check WHILE STILL EATING, and left empty glasses sitting there.

We come here several times a year, usually to celebrate something, and have never been disappointed. Food is top-notch and worth the price. This trip, I had prime rib, and my wife had the salmon. Incredible food. The service was above and beyond. Ivan was meticulous with helping my wife order as she has some food allergies. We're looking forward to coming back soon.

Our service was provided by Felix and he is absolutely one of the reasons we keep going back there for the full five course dining experience. Our appetizers were very good. The hearty and rich chili with chunks of steak was delicious. Our main course was done to our liking which is a feat of it's own they prepared it exactly as we wanted. Felix really goes above and beyond to guide us through the menu and is very accommodating to our particular likes and dislikes without judgement he is passionate about his customers and we just want to wish him and everyone else a very Merry Christmas ? and we hope to come eat more yummy food in the near future. First of all, the host was rude, we showed up 5 min early and were told they weren't open yet. There was many different ways to go about that. The food was good but for the price we could have gone somewhere better for better with polite service. The CDA menu doesn't match the table menu either. Ivan our table host was very nice. The bus boy was polite and nice too. It was a decent meal but I don't think worth all the huff and puff. They make it seem so fancy but it's not.

The entrées where super great. We ordered the mozzarella appizer and it was not good at all. Tasted pre-made and stuck in a fridge for hours before we ate it.. also ordered the French onion soup which was also not good... if u go only get entrées no add ons. Also our service was not good she put our food down and didn't come back for 25 min to check on us... and it wasn't very busy the other servers seemed to be way more attentive to the other tables
