I used to love eating here. The food, the service, the atmosphere was great. Something happened though. Now it's two out of three and the missing one is the most important: the food. It's no longer great and the prices are way too high for what you get served. RedTail is actually far better and that's sad for me to say. I usually have comps to eat here but for my birthday in July, I will eat at RedTail. Just a heads up everyone. On another note, to this day I miss the buffet -- the prime rib buffet, the crab buffet. It was so good, so festive and gave me more reasons to drive up there. With the decline of the Steak house, now there's two less reasons. Add to that, they no longer offer the slot machine tournaments. I used to do a tournament and then eat at a great restaurant and then spend too much money. Nope. Not now. I know they are going to renovate/modernize the older side of the casino. Are they pinching pennies to save for that? If so they are losing money in the process.

Went for belated birthday dinner. Food was great service was a little slow out of lamb and accidentally charged us for it. Would have got dessert but staff was preoccupied with gratuity included large group. Not unsatisfied but not the best bday dinner ever.

Chinook Steak house the bread it’s so dry and check your bills before you go. Clams its good but be careful there’s a lot of sands in the soup. The shrimps is not cooked well and we return it. The cooks no Culinary training.

Service was fast and amazing and punctual, the food was amazing the steak was a 10/10 the Alfredo was the 2nd best Alfredo I’ve ever had in my entire life and that’s because I make the best Alfredo. Will definitely be coming back for more

Our waiter was kind and he provided good service. The one thing I will not do is complain about my food. Because let's be honest I never want to upset the cooks. But with the way the food came out yesterday I was highly disappointed and so that's why I'm going to give a review. Our calamari was not cooked all the way and the breading was not crispy. My Caesar salad was so dry and had no sauce on it. I requested a side of dressing. And I wish I would have taken a picture of how sad our $50 plate of bass was. I paid and extra $6 to have it spilt and it was pitiful. 2 tiny carrots each that were hard to bite into. In fact when I tried cutting it it flew off my plate because of the force. Highly disappointed.

Ate in bar and service was awesome. Food...carrots were undercooked, salmon was overcooked, steak was medium rare but under seasoned and rice was cold. Disappointing and overpriced for the quality.

The last few times we,ve been there we,be been very disappointed with the quality and portion of the food we ordered and last night they didn't even put everything that was supposed to be on the plate. Prices for what we got was way out of line! Did they get new cooks or what?

Took 20 minutes just to get bread… took another half an hour for frozen shrimp, menu needs an update so customers know what they’re getting, Alfredo Pasta was very bland and not appetizing, ordered fries but after waiting an hour we just asked for the check, food was not worth the wait .

For being a steakhouse charging $75-100 a person, this place leaves a lot to be desired.

We were seated shortly after our reservation time, but then waited fifteen minutes to be acknowledged by a staff member.

The steaks themselves are overpriced.

Steaks come with “seasonal vegetables” which apparently means two…yes two…pieces of broccoli.

This is by far the nicest restaurant in the dump of a casino that it calls home, but it gives lipstick on a pig vibes. Would not dine here again.

We live on the lake close to the casino so we eat there a lot. This was our forth time at the Chinook.
I hate bad reviews but this place needs some help. Staff are alway great and the rest is always clean and inviting but the food is never good. We ate there last night and the Chicken Marsala had no flavor at all. We have an Idea, why not shorten the menu to fewer items and perfect them. Have a sample night and get honest opinions from your guests. We don’t want to loose the Chinook but imagine a place that’s so good people make it a destination restaurant. Everything is good except the food.

We went there for a 60th birthday celebration. Evidently there were only two servers working on a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy. The waiter was polite and doing all he could. Our appetizers and salads were great. Even though it took a really LONG time to get them.

Most of us ordered the prime rib for dinner. It took an hour to get our entrees and when they did arrive, they were COLD. And 5 of the 7 orders were wrong. The prime rib was dry and tough, with very little flavor. It was a very disappointing meal. The manager apologized, and offered free desserts for the table, which was nice. We asked for them to go, as we'd been there for almost two and a half hours at that point. They shorted us a dessert, but we didn't even bother asking for another one, we just wanted to leave. It was a truly awful meal. I feel the entire meal should have been comped, given all the problems. We won't be back again.

Have been wanting to give this venue another try. The previous visit was less than noteworthy. There wasn't notable improvement this time. Service was improved, but that is the extent of it. I started with a Bombay Sapphire martini. No one even so much as suggested "dirty", but the overwhelming presence of pure olive brine was enough for me to send it back. Apologies because "that's the way I always make it" were accepted. Ask next time. The salad was exceptional, the salmon chowder, not so much. A bowl of fish flesh covered with a weak broth does not a chowder make. The NW seafood pasta was asking and a miss. White sauce was tasteless, shrimp were pretty good, scallops an halibut were undercooked. Again, ask your diner. Not everyone feels what the chef thinks is done, is done. Green salad was great, especially the white balsamic poppyseed dressing. Broccoli was nice, better than average as were the garlic mashers. I have to give the prime rib a fail. It passed neither the appearance nor taste category. Fat content was about average but flavor was non-existent. The jus was no help. Overall, bang for buck, not a win for either of us. Really fortunate I didn't order a $70 rib steak.

Good food. A bit high priced. But I enjoyed myself and the opened bar. Our waitress was amazing.
