The food is too delicious, I haven't been able to eat something that really tastes like Guatemala for years ❤️ 100% recommended my new favorite restaurant

Food was phenomenal. The woman at the desk only spoke Spanish and seemed annoyed when I had to use Google translate (I only speak basic spanish). The interior needs to be refurbished. But, the food was soooo flavorful. I will be back.

We decided to try something different so we went to this restaurant from the outside it looks ok but when you enter it smells too dirty they don't have a clean restaurant like a good one we thought positive we sat down no one came to serve them 15 minutes passed a person arrived with some menus that they sent them made of folders were full of dirt stuck food well we remained positive after another 15 minutes a supposed minor arrived that with all the respect that she deserves but she really needs customer service well we ordered and she didn't know how to take our orders we ordered the appetizers and then the main dishes but she still didn't understand that the appetizers are served first anyway, after a long wait the food arrived in portions for my surprise the stuffed ones came with a fried insect on top of my food that is not forgivable the tamale smelled like old was hard as a rock inedible the toast same the meat with tortillas super hard so everything was very bad they never check the food before it is served the owner didn't care when I told him to be careful with what he serves because it could make people sick Many people, the response I got was, well, if you want to come, well, if not, don't come at the end of everything, the food was not as it should be, otherwise, don't spend your money in this dirty establishment, my family got sick to their stomach, I'm sorry. But you will have to visit the Dupage Health Department before going to this place. My recommendations are that you read the comments of previous clients so that you don't get sick. The food comes with dead animals in it.

If you are looking for authentic Guatemalan food this is NOT the place. Save your money and go somewhere else. The service very very bad, the food, the atmosphere also bad. Everything is sticky, lack of hygiene in short. Everything was bad.

The place used to be very good 2 years ago, the service was good and the food was very delicious. Unfortunately the last 3 times I've been the only good thing they have is the fried chicken which apparently is the only thing they make at that time, the fries full of oil, the fresh chilacayote with a refrigerator flavor, the chuchitos are Mexican tamales and frozen from the center, they charge you extra if they add sauce, the pupusas are ugly too, if you order breast in chicken broth they give you chicken. They increased prices and greatly decreased quality. The service before was "good" but now it is very bad and the same people continue to serve me, I don't understand why the change is due but it is better to save the minimum $80 that I spent on each visit.

The Pata broth has a super rich flavor, the corn tamales are very good, the chipilin tamales are not made like in Guate. They make them with the dough of regular tamales, adding the chipilin and in banana leaf, they do not make it in tusa (corn leaf).

Very bad service. I ordered a chilacayote soda which tasted very bad because it had a very strong fridge saver, the flavor did not feel the chilacayote flavor at all. I asked the waitress if she could please change it for me, explaining the reasons, she said I can't give you another drink but I have to charge you for it. It's not a problem for me to pay, but that's not the point. You're giving me something that doesn't taste good. Previously the food was delicious but the last two times I've gone it seems that everything is frozen and they only heat it up and they don't heat it well. very bad experience
