Normally, I'm a fan of Portillos. My sandwich was kind of tasteless. I'm pretty sure it was just a bad batch since I'm usually pretty happy with the food.

Food was mediocre at best. Since they franchised not the same. Food quality has gone down. Milk shakes are still yummy. Stick to desserts.

Anyone remember coming to this portillo's when it was in the mall east of its current location? It had a mining theme. It was dark kinda like being in a mine.

Sorry, I asked for hot peppers, and u can barely see them. If you want more, it's going to cost you $$$. Only thing good, u can ask for juice on the side for free. Fries are good. But the cheese cause is getting smaller and smaller, and the fries are not worth the cost.

I catered from Portillo’s in Addison, IL for my son’s birthday party. The delivery was smooth, food was hot and fresh and delicious, and they even gave us a free lemon cake! Overall a wonderful experience. Never disappointed in this particular location.

I had very little time and was nearby so I stopped in for a chicken noodle soup. I paid $5.00 for pure broth, very little anything of substance. This was really disappointing as I have been going to Portillo's throughout Chicagland for years. With the myriad other choices that have popped up since Portillos was the only game in town, its incidents like this that will make me think twice. Man that was horrible.

One of the original Portillo's in the area. They still have the original jukebox in there. Place is upkeep well and the kids love it.

Nobody eat at this nasty place. Serving old re-heated food. Called and talked to someone and as usually nothing was done about it. Next time hire someone who doesn’t check a box and hire most qualified.

From the person who took my order to the person who handed my order everyone was smiling and happy doesn't matter how busy they are or if it was slow late in the day this is one of the best Portillo's around the service is why I come here thank

Portillo's maintains a consistent level of quality, but there have been occasional issues, such as a frequently broken tea machine and variations in the amount of Italian beef. The ordering experience is mixed, with some staff being okay, while the inconsistency in how orders are called out adds a unique charm to each visit. Despite these minor hiccups, the overall quality remains intact.Dietary restrictions: It seems there might be room for improvement in accommodating dietary preferences at Portillo's. Ordering a hamburger without a bun should ideally include all the condiments, mirroring the standard preparation. This inconsistency could be addressed to enhance the overall dining experience for customers with specific dietary needs.

I don't understand why the old woman working at the cash register is so angry.
