All employees here are great. But special credit goes to Matt who was working outside taking orders in uncomfortable heat but manages to still be kind. Outstanding attitude and a great example of what service used to be.
Portillos has been a great treat for decades being here in Chicago area. Big Beef w/ Sweet Peppers, Cheese fries, hot dogs, love the Maxwell with grilled onions! Onions rings, damn!!!! Can't go wrong.
Can't go wrong with portilllos, still best and most reliable beef, burgers and chicago dogs around. Their chocolate cake is amazing and will ruin all other chocolate cakes after tasting it. Good shakes too. Salads are made fresh to order, very good seasoned chicken breast.
My only comment would be that I wish they had gluten free buns and chocolate cake, I have to use my own bread if i get any sandwiches
