Portillos has been a great treat for decades being here in Chicago area. Big Beef w/ Sweet Peppers, Cheese fries, hot dogs, love the Maxwell with grilled onions! Onions rings, damn!!!! Can't go wrong.
Can't go wrong with portilllos, still best and most reliable beef, burgers and chicago dogs around. Their chocolate cake is amazing and will ruin all other chocolate cakes after tasting it. Good shakes too. Salads are made fresh to order, very good seasoned chicken breast.
My only comment would be that I wish they had gluten free buns and chocolate cake, I have to use my own bread if i get any sandwiches

It’s Portillo’s, a Chicagoland legend and must-visit tourist spot (get the beef dipped, you coward). I will say that the quality seems to vary by location, but the Addison location is one of the better ones. Fast service, great food, and clean, no complaints. Highly recommend the chocolate cake if you have room for dessert.
