The wait staff was patient as we were a party of six with the restaurant closing in half an hour. We were coming from across the street as we were finalizing services for a wake. Only three people in the party had arrived. We ordered for everyone present and the three remaining guests who arrived just on time. The staff did an excellent job of making sure everything came out on time and in the proper order. I ordered the special the jalapeno popper omelet. Fluffy omelet small pieces of jalapeno with cream cheese. My daughter ordered the smashed corned beef hash with eggs for herself and our late arrivals, one without mushrooms. Everything came out perfectly and we hope that we didn't keep the staff too long. I'm sure they weren't aware that we were coming from a funeral home, and we're told that short Stack was a great breakfast place. And it was directly across the street from our meeting. A shout out to the wait staff of short stack for making our brunch experience Pleasant.

I ordered 2 whole eggs, 4 whites, bacon and a muffin.
Somehow my order came out to $24.90. I asked if this was an error but what told that the upcharge to egg whites is $1.50 and then an additional $2.50 per egg white. What should've been $15-18 at the most came out way higher.

Pretty simple food, but really good and a good price. Small inside, but it's fun to sit at the little dining bar. Not crazy about the chilaquiles, but the Greek skillet is sooo good.

First time eating at Short Stacks. My husband and I rode our bikes here and grabbed a bite to eat before finishing our ride. There is not a good place to lock up your bike, however, there were a few other bikers that left their bikes parked right outside the door to the restaurant and no one had any issues. The food was delicious! The staff is friendly and the service was great. We will be eating here again!

I truly love this place, But this message is for the owner. I think it is EXTREMELY RUDE of you to have your hard working staff to stop preparing orders just to make yours. You have an amazing staff and to put them in a position like that is terrible business.
I placed an order in July 3rd at 707am . I arrived 10 minutes later and I knew I was early and waited. The young lady said 15 minutes over the phone. I said no problem,seeing I have never had any issues prior. You then show up and put all orders on hold just so the cook can make yours. I am a paying customer, remember those people who provide your location business.
Anyhow the cook was beyond stressed out as you watched over him to complete your order. Doesn't matter if your the owner. You should take care of your customers first.
Regardless to say your order was made and on you went with your merry self while I stood there waiting for 42 minutes and leaving your crew to explain to me why I had to wait.
How absolutely RUDE and ignorant on your part sir.
You have an amazing group of employees who work very hard. They are the only reason why I go there and have shown this place to many many of my friends and family.
Do better sir.
