We enjoyed the burgers and garlic fries. The place is pricey but they do have quality food. Our server was good and attentive.
Terrible service. I understand being short staff because of Covid but service was bad regardless. We had little kids with and everyone that got there after us was seated first. Didn’t even acknowledge it was going to be a bit longer or anything. Won’t be back.
I mean, its Red Robin....... Food was the same as I remember. I am happy they are so COVID precautious, but good grief. Having to ask for more than 1 salt packet is a little much. Service was great when we came in for lunch. Some on in my party got a salad and it looked so yummy and go big!
Went there for late lunch so restaurant was practically empty with about 4 tables filled. Service was terrible because every request such as extra condiments and take-out container for forgotten the minute the server left the table!! Had to physically go and ask for it a second time. At a time when service should be excellent it seemed like the staff was more interested in socializing with each other & the kitchen! No excuse for this ... train your people better. No one around to complain to when we left. Disappointed & probably won't be back for quite some time; lots of other choices in the area.
We came to this Red Robin because it was close to where we were and we were making us of a birthday burger invitation from Red Robin. It is a bit harder to get into with the road construction on Randall Rd., but it can be done. There is a traffic signal at the intersection of Randall Rd. and Huntington Dr. (or Bunker Hill Dr.). We were seated immediately. Our server, David, was there for our drink order. We ordered two meals from the kids' menu - corn dogs and the pasta swirls. Those came out pretty quickly. The three of us, adults, ordered three burgers. One was without the bun and one was the Banzai burger. I had the Banzai burger with extra cheese and grilled onions and it was medium rare (the way I wanted it) and juicy. The burger was quite tasty. At the end, David and some of the staff came out with a sundae and did the birthday song which we joined in on. Thanks, all! I did think that the restaurant was quite busy and may have been a bit understaffed.
Thank you Red Robin Gourmet Burgers in Algonquin, Illinois. Pixie is getting two super special beef patties just for her. If she is going to cross the rainbow bridge, she deserves something special and they provided it/accomodated for us. THANK YOU! #REDROBIN
The burgers are great. Many different options. The southwest type salad with grilled chicken and southwest ranch dressing is AMAZING!
Floor was absolutely filthy. Tables were not cleared off. When two of the tables near us were finally cleared off, whey were wiped down with a dry paper towel. Food was so-so. Won’t be returning
Red Robin tends to be a fallback for our family. You know what you're gonna get and the burgers are good. The kids of course like the endless fries and bottomless strawberry lemonade.
Red Robin has good food, but at the Algonquin location they just cannot get pick up orders right. Red Robin uses a call center for pick up orders. When someone at the call center takes your order they are more than likely going to not get the order right because their program has a limited number of characters allowed. If you have any special requests, the call center must be able to type that request in 15 characters. "substitute provolone cheese for the cheddar cheese" has more than 50 characters, so they just cannot convey the special request. The other option on a phone-in order is to speak with someone at the restaurant, it usually takes 20-30 rings, but someone will eventually answer. You do stand a better chance of getting your order right if you are able to talk with someone at the restaurant.

Went here a few nights ago to have a family dinner with the kids. Hadn't been there in a while so it was like going again for the first time. Our server was very pleasant, if not perhaps a bit too pleasant... trying to hard to be personable. No big deal on that though, just a comment. The food was very good. I had a burger (can't remember the exact one), my wife had the shoom' burger, my kids had pizza, and corn doggers. In all, the food was pretty good. My wife and I also had some "adult shakes" - Blue Moon Shakes. Darn good. The atmosphere was good... really the entire experience was what I'd expect... except the bathroom. The bathroom experience (mens) was terrible. I'd call it on par with a gas station. It was dirty, smelled, and there was a healthy armount of urin on the floor by the urinal. Not unuusal in a small amount, but that wasn't the case. I couldn't get ouf there fast enough. At least the staff should be in looking after the cleanliness, becuase this was easily fixable, and would have allowed for a truely great experience. Go, and enjoy the food. The menu was good, the Youkon chips were fantastic, the burgers were cooked to perfection... just skip the bathroom.
We came to this Red Robin Gourmet Burgers for my son's birthday. Now, mind you he turned 39, but we figured that the grandkids would have fun singing with the staff to their Dad. And, they did. There were six of us - four adults, my 3 year old granddaughter and my 5 year old grandson. Our server, Miriam, was there quickly and brought us our menus and took our drink order. We did learn that even though they do not have a CocaCola Freestyle fountain machine, you are still able to get my favorite Diet Coke with orange flavoring. For appetizers, we ordered the towering onion rings and the guac and chips. We ordered our entrees. From the kids menu, we ordered a mac & cheese with mandarin oranges, as well as the grilled chicken dip'ns with the mandarin oranges. Miriam placed the kids order first, so we got them started out quickly. We ordered a madlove burger, a master cheese burger, a big pig out tavern burger and a bacon cheese burger. With three of the burgers we opted for the cole slaw, as opposed to the French fries. At the end, Miriiam, brought the birthday sundae for my son and his kids had a great time, embarrassing their Dad! The total price was reasonable. All of the food was hot and tasty. The burgers were done just right. Miriam was very personable, efficient and attentive.
The burgers are delicious and there is a wide variety. The kid's meals have bottomless fries ( and mabmc n cheese!). Shakes were good. The southwest Chicken salad with fried jalapenos is delicious!
On our most recent visit to Red Robin my order was wrong twice. First time cold food. Second time raw meat. My wife got to eat, but I sat and watched her. I won't go back. It's a matter of principle.
