It's stupid. $20 for one slice is crazy. It's good but they need to make normal size pizza for that price.
Hands down one of the best pizza joints around. 10/10 every time. Best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had. Get yourself some.
Phenomenal pizza! The crust was airy and light and the toppings are high quality. We ordered the Winston Wolf
100% recommended, The pizza was delicious and Jamie was attentive and it was a pleasant atmosphere.
As much as I hate giving a bad-ish review to a local pizza place, I have to be honest here. I've had this pizza a few times and it's decent if you like Detroit style, but...and it pains me to say this....this isn't that much better than little ceasar's Detroit style at 3x the price. The pizzas are surprisingly similar and honestly I prefer the sauce and overall taste of little ceasar's. I'm going local pizza 99 times out of 100 over chain pizza but I feel like this is a case of LC having an actual decent pizza and pizza pusher's just not being that special. If this pizza was half the price that it is, I would be a lot more forgiving....but 2 pizzas after tax is almost $45...the SAME amount of pizza from LC is $14 and it's an almost identical pizza. I'm sorry but that's just what it is, I feel like a lot of people haven't had Detroit style and just are enthusiastic just because it's different than suburb tavern pizza.
All that aside, the sauce lacks tang and is too sweet and they absolutely bomb the crap out of the pizza with oregano. I'm not a fan of oregano on pizza in the first place but they go WAY overboard on the oregano in general. It's all you can taste.
Sorry pizza pushers, I hate to rain on the parade but I just gotta be honest on this one.
Thank You!!! The Pizza Here is: Always Greeeeat!!!
Great Detroit style pizza with a Great staff
Excellent pizza
The best Detroit style pizza we ever had. The owner and people that work there are super friendly. They have a comfortable dining area where you can enjoy your pizza with a beer too. We had a SMOG pizza which is sausage, mushroom, onion, and green pepper, and it was delicious with the traditional crispy edges Detroit pizzas are known for. We can't wait to go back. We would give them more stars if that was an option.
Pizza is the best in town! My family and I try to get their pizza as often as we can. Owner and staff are always so kind and friendly! 10/10 highly recommend!

Have had this a couple times now, incredible pizza choice. Wish I had tried this sooner than I did. Amazing food, friendly employees. Give this place some love and support!
Probably one of the best pizza places I've ever been to...
Came to Algonquin to bring my nephew for an indoor park. While here we decided to find a place to eat at. After some research i found pizza pushers and saw that the reviews were really good. We tried it out and man was it the best pizza I’ve had so far. For starters I have not tried Detroit pizza before so that was also an experience. It was crispy , soft, and had the perfect amount of cheese/sauce. I reccomend Winston wolf & the cheese pizza. The service was also really good. The cook came to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and having a good experience. 10/10 from me.
We have been wanting to try this place for a while because the reviews were so good and we love Detroit style pizza. We finally got carryout today and it looks nothing like the pictures online. It’s basically bread with little to no sauce and barely any cheese. We ordered on a Saturday right when they opened at 3:30. They weren’t busy at the time. For $47 for 2 small pizzas we are really disappointed.
Excellent Pizza, friendly staff!! It's a Detroit Style pizza so expect something different. Portion sizes are small.. 1 pizza will feed 1-2 people..
