We went to Red Robin during the week (Tuesday) for lunch. It was my daughter’s 5th birthday. We told our waitress twice, which she acknowledged both, that it was her birthday and we got nothing. Another table sang to their customer and brought them dessert while my daughter watched. We were so excited to have her celebrated at a restaurant for the first time and were extremely disappointed that our server just did not care. She was not busy, she did not forget, it seems as though she just didn’t want to, she was just standing in the kitchen doing nothing and barely even told us bye as if she was avoiding us to get out of it. Yes we could’ve told someone else but that just sucked all the excitement out of it and I felt like we were just awkwardly sitting there waiting for her to come surprise our daughter. We finally realized she wasn’t and just left.

BESIDES that, the restaurant felt dirty and old. Booth was ripping and had no support, table was slanted to the point we had to hold the kids crayons, everything felt sticky, locks in the bathrooms broken, both soap dispensers in bathroom were falling apart.. not a good experience at all and will NOT be back. The ONLY reason I gave more than 1 star is because the food was okay and the hostess so sweet.

I decided for Womens’ day yesterday to go out to share a burger. I am a man but decided to share with some of the closest women in my life and more. The atmosphere felt a little uneasy from the people that were at the restaurant I’m unsure if there were regulars or people in the area. Nonetheless I’m sure everyone was having a good time and there were plenty of parties and two or three celebrations. I think the vintage appeal of Red Robin is always one of a kind and a sight to see. Miriam our server did an outstanding job very friendly, accommodating, and explained items from the menu quite well. We didn’t know up until we asked just for conversation but she’s bilingual which is awesome I think she gets more clients and definitely more helpful when communicating. Aside from that some gossiping I could hear from the people in the front and some other background from workers, I mean after a long day I’m sure from working the human in anyone comes out, right? Regardless they were all delightful and pleasant. We tried the newest burgers and may I say that they were good and really gotta give kudos to the kitchen staff since the people that usually take the recognition are the people attending and some may forget about the kitchen. The kitchen did amazing. Everything was pretty okay. We tried the newest burgers desert as well, it was tasty. Overall it was a goodnight I’m sure the ladies enjoyed being out.

I came to red Robin for my sons third birthday on the third day of the third week of the third month of the third year and let me tell you something when you go to red Robin. You know exactly what you’re going to get and you can bet your bottom dollar you’re not gonna getiota more and before that I played with a model train into a re-worked up an appetite, which was nice because their fries are available

Go ahead and find yourself ANYWHERE ELSE to get a burger. I’m not sure if it’s the company or this specific location, but there are some serious corners being cut.

We all know the drill, it’s too expensive to live these days. You get some money together, go out to eat, see prices increased by a good 30-40%. Fine, sure, whatever, right? Wrong. That mentality of “just dealing with it” comes at the expectation of the implication that the prices have been increased while the quality of food has stayed the same. Wrong 😂

They have “cheaper” burger options. I got a 13 dollar burger because the others were 16-20 and had a million things on them, I just wanted a burger. I got what I asked for, but not what I paid for. Two meat patties, a slice of cheese, a bun. That. Is. It. 13 bucks for a plain burger with a couple onion straws on it. 13 bucks.

Got the half stack onion rings. The first three (of six) were seemingly the smallest onions they could find.

Paid 8 bucks for pretzels with cheese sauce. The quality of it was the same you could get at the mall, and they gave us a tiny little cup of cheese that was only half full.

An entire alcoholic shake, complete with the refill cup thing, has one single shot of baileys in it. That’s it.

They give you bottomless fries (they got rid of the fried green beans which is what my wife came here for), but there were a total of nine fries with my plain overpriced burger, as if saying yeah they’re bottomless but fries don’t grow on trees. They’re fries. YOU eat the loss, I’LL eat the fries, that’s BOTH of our jobs.

My wife got a mushroom burger. You know, a burger covered in mushrooms, where the flavor and quality of the mushrooms make or break the burger? Yeah, sorry guys. They’re using canned mushrooms now. CANNED. MUSHROOMS. It was almost 20 bucks for that burger.

I haven’t the slightest idea how these guys are staying in business. You go to chilis and they have an entire three part meal for ten bucks. Here the special is you pay 2 bucks extra and get another meat patty on your burger. WOAH MAN, CRAAAAAZY. These people should be ashamed of themselves, but I’m not holding my breath that any semblance of a growth oriented service industry exists in this toilet of a country post Covid, and nowhere has it been quite so insulting as it was here.

The service was very good and the people who worked here seem nice and attentive. But they should go find another job, with practices like this, there won’t be a Red Robin around for much longer. And I never thought I would say this, but good riddance. This place sucks now. Go literally ANYWHERE ELSE.

And check out their thrifty solution to their broken bathroom stall doors! What a bunch of cool bros, man.

I want to know how you slice an avocado and see that it's black, gray and brown, and still serve it? Black avocado, old, mushy tomatoes, funky blue cheese. This place is nasty.

Fabulous place! Not too crowded, great service, and the bacon cheeseburger fondue was amazing!

Decorated very cute for Christmas but the slowest service I have ever had and it was before 6pm - the waitress blamed it on the kitchen but food was forgotten and then took ages for the check and boxes. Food was good as was atmosphere.

It was not busy at lunchtime. Server took 10 min to come to my table..another10 to bring water. Impossible burger waa over $18 not including tax. Fries were room temperature and limp...tasted reheated. I asked for heavy onion and a cup of mayo..I reminded server after food came. I was not asked if I wanted a water refill or more fries. Very disappointing. Ordered pickle nickels to go after lunch. Obviously made from frozen..and maybe 8-10 for $8. I did not receive the text survey that a flyer said. I'm in no hurry to return! Food and service were awful. By the way, the menu price of a single slice of lemon cake is $10..must be $60 or more per cake.

Starting out the experience with Emma, our hostess, she was amazing! Very personable, asked us how our day was and was very friendly. Our waitress, Hannah, was amazing as well. She seemed very busy but still was very attentive and friendly. She also went above and beyond for my gluten allergy when I told her about it! Every worker I saw was hustling, the restaurant was pretty packed but the crew seemed to have it handled. Good job crew!

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free buns and they ask if it’s an allergy :)

Food and service were both great! Got the double tavern burger and it was filling but not overly big. Gave me a chance to enjoy the mozzarella twists, steak fries and garlic broccoli.

Extremely underwhelming and disappointing experience here Sunday. Service was bare minimum especially considering there were only a few tables in the whole restaurant. We were sat in the bar area and had extremely long waits in between seeing our server.
The host, went behind the bar to make a milkshake and loudly said to our server “WHY ARE THERE SO MANY FLIES BACK HERE”. Not quite what you want to hear as you’re eating your food.

Women’s restroom was dirty and also had flies (noticed right before leaving).
As we were paying at our table we noticed a few fruit flies that had made there way to us from the bar.
Food was fine, burgers were all good but the fries came out cold. Asked for more fries and the second batch was much better. Will never be back based on cleanliness alone.

I've been visiting this chain for decades. This location in Algonquin is excellent. Great for allergy awareness and kitchen preparedness. Food as expected, always delivered hot. Excellent wait staff every time we visit. ToGo is also good, fast, reliable at this location.
