Always a great local place for some pizza. Thin crust is my go to. I love this place.

A buddy rec chezzy beef, (needed to be on garlic bread). My Dad always got a combo, (beef/Italian sausage) regardless. I still follow what my Dad always bought. If the pizzas have the sausages from the combo. The pizzas are going to be a winner!

I rarely order out and haven't ordered pizza in years, but I was having people over for a small birthday celebration and went with pizza. My Dad LOVED Sal's when he was alive and that's why I gave them a try. The Pizza was outstanding. I ordered 4 large pizzas and each was absolutely delicious. Thank you Sal's you will get my order again for next years celebration.

Smelled great coming through the door, Was still hot when delivered, and everything was cooked to perfection! Couldn't ask for more! Still have some extra left over from a medium pizza for 3

This is the first time I’ve ordered from Sal’s Pizza. Their pizza and mozzarella sticks were amazing. People were very friendly. Fast with delivery. I would definitely recommend ordering from there

Easily my top spot for thin-crust pizza in Algonquin. I’ve ordered from this place for years, and the quality stays the same every time. They stay true to their craft and never disappoint!

Used to be our go-to neighborhood pizza spot — no frills, always reliable. Just ordered 1 small pizza, 1 large, and 2 apps: $75. This same order was about $20 cheaper half a year ago. Quality’s the same (still good!), but the price jump is hard to justify. Totally understand costs rising, but it’s just gotten too steep for regular family takeout.

We occasionally order Sal’s for dinner, but decided to get 6 XL pizzas for a birthday party recently. The experience was great! We called the morning of (a Saturday) and put our order in for delivery. At the party, the pizza was delivered on time, hot, and delicious! Multiple guests told me how good the pizza was and wanted to know where it was from!

I had shopped around for the best price before ordering and Sal’s was the most affordable. I already knew I’d order again for the occasional Friday night dinner, but I wouldn’t hesitate to order again for a crowd. Placing the order, our interaction with the delivery driver, and the food itself was amazing.

100% recommend!

I recently ordered takeout from this pizza shop, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. While the staff was friendly and the order was ready on time, the quality of the pizza itself fell short.

The biggest issue was the dough — it had a noticeable freezer-burned taste and texture. Instead of being soft and fresh, the crust was dry, tough, and had that unmistakable “off” flavor that comes from being stored improperly or for too long. It really affected the overall enjoyment of the meal.

I wanted to like this place, but for a pizza shop, fresh dough is essential. I hope they address their storage and preparation process, because with fresher ingredients, they could definitely do better. For now, though, I can’t recommend the pizza based on this experience.

so i have not tried the thin crust yet but i did try for the first time the stuffed pizza but i was pretty bummed of the lack of cheese used for a stuffed pizza. i was hoping it would be comparable to nancy's stuffed pizza near by or like a giordono's level but the cheese level was just not there for a stuffed pizza sadly. i may give the pan pizza a try next time because the picture of that looked like it had more cheese!
