Ordered breakfast from Syrup, and they didn’t even include syrup with my meal—seriously, it’s in the name! On top of that, the food was terrible—bland, overcooked, and barely edible. Complete waste of money and a frustrating experience. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Update: I forgot about this garbage place and ordered again 2 years later only to find I left a review before and the same thing happened. Still no syrup, literally the name of the place. Isn’t that the craziest thing ever… syrup gives you no syrup.

Love this place. Got there with a family of 5 and immediately got assisted and offered a high seat for the baby. We got a table right away and our orders were taken. Our server was lovely and bright. We waited about 30 minutes for our food and were surprised by the big portions. Definitely worth the price. The food was delicious, I got a skillet. The atmosphere wasn’t the best because it was cold outside and we still felt cold inside.

We had the pleasure of dining at the Syrup, Algonquin recently. From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and the service we received from our waitress Tansey was excellent. She was so warm and welcoming, and made sure our orders came on time. The menu was impressive, offering a wide variety of breakfast options. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The portions were very generous. The pancakes that came as a side to my order looked like a separate order on its own. The whole family was equally thrilled with their choices. All in all this is a top quality restaurant with reasonable prices. We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.

Went to syrup today 12/10/24 and ordered a burger, I noticed 2 plates came out for my friends before mine & more than 5 minutes had passed & server finally came & noticed I didn’t have my plate. He had forgotten to place my order & when it finally came out they brought me a steak which isn’t what I ordered & I told server it was the wrong thing but didn’t feel like waiting for a whole new plate as my friends were waiting for me to eat with them. I get my bill & they still decided to bill me for the wrong thing. Bad service & manager was really rude about the situation causing an argument.

Honestly you wont find a better breakfast place in the area, i can say this might be the top breakfast place ive ever eaten at in the states, every time we go there i leave very full and very satisfied, the food is fresh juicy and everything is full of flavors we always leave with to go boxes and the prices are crazy low, we always spend between 40-60 dollars depending on the drinks we get but food is phenomenal for the price, hard to compete with this joint. Its always packed so that might be little frustrating for some but the wait is worth it 100%
Omg! Rarely do I ever finish my food at a restaurant but today was my first time coming to syrup and I had the grilled cheese and a side of biscuits and gravy. The mayo pesto was to die for if I could take home a bottle I would 😆 and the gravy was so good and the biscuit was perfect. The server was amazing. Jacquelyne went above and beyond to make our first time here amazing. We will be coming back again. The food, the service and the over experience was phenomenal. Thank you Syrup!

It was my first time coming to Syrup and i absolutely loved it! Our server was Jackson and he was absolutely amazing! He was very helpful when it came to picking something on the menu! The place was super cozy and comforting. The food is such rightfully priced due to the amazing presentation and how absolutely delicious it was. I look forward to coming back and trying something new on the menu!

Jackson was me & my friends server & he was AMAZINGGG he was very knowledgeable & described your guys house syrup that you make yourself (i would recommend trying it’s delicious!) he was very helpful when it came to me giving extra sides & what he recommends! i loved the atmosphere! the food was 10/10! i think the prices are perfect for the amount of food you get, i got to toffana pancakes & it was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend this place & jackson as your server! :)
