Food is always excellent and the atmosphere is warm. Tinsey is a phenominal server, knows the entire menu inside and out.

If you are debating whether to wait for a table at Syrup—do it. It is absolutely worth the wait! Parking is abundant and easy to navigate, which is a huge plus since they stay busy.
As someone with Celiac disease, finding safe and delicious options is a priority. Their gluten-free pancakes were fantastic, but the Butcher Omelette was the star of the show. It was so flavorful and massive that I couldn’t even finish it!
The service is top-notch; the staff is attentive and keeps your coffee full without you even having to ask. It’s rare to find a place that balances great food, Celiac safety, and excellent service so well. I’ll definitely be back!

Food is good, service is slow…. once
you actually get seated. Manager stands around hostess stand and chats with the two hostesses. Tables are open, yet they continue to chat instead of seating. Don’t acknowledge patrons.. only
come once a year .. probably be less
going forward
Hostess was rude. Place is a mess. Buttered toast across the street is much better.

They had me arrive to pick up the Uber delivery more than fifteen minutes before their system said it was scheduled to be ready.

Visiting Syrup for the first time turned out to be a wonderful experience. The atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and instantly welcoming. Every dish looked beautiful and tasted even better, making the pricing feel completely justified. From presentation to flavor, everything exceeded my expectations and left me truly impressed.

I have been to syrup a number of times the last two times being about six months apart. Six months ago when I went, there was an inordinate amount of fruit flies and small flies flying all around our table and landing on food and beverages. I was disgusted but figured since it was the summer and we had smoothies that had something to do with it. Against my better judgment, I went back this morning, and not only were there fruit flies all around our table and landing on our food, the water glasses, even though we had zero fruit at our table and no smoothies, I also counted NINE what looked to be larger fruit flies or maybe drain flies on the walls around our corner table!!! They have a serious problem with this and it needs to be addressed. I cannot imagine what’s happening in the kitchen. I will never ever eat there again. I was so disgusted.
Apart from that, the food is extremely overpriced. Two over easy eggs and corned beef hash, a single waffle, a side of regular bacon and a coffee came to $51. Never again.
