We were hunting for bbq ribs and found this place near downtown Algonquin. From the outside, it looks like it needs a little brush up. Upon entering the lady at te register taxes your order, and then you go and find a table. The service is fast and they bring tour food to your table. The ribs were good, the baked potato blvery small, and a few condiments. The price compares to other establishments.

An average past its prime BBQ joint. The food was ok, really far from its roots of Texas. Brisket was the driest brisket I've had and was not freshly made [today]. Turkey and sausage were spot on and exceptional. Chili is def worth a try. Texas BBQ doesn't need sauce; the sauce is only to compliment - mark missed.

Pricing is about expected based on the market cost of products and the general food service industry. There was no mention of a 3% CC fee...

The Texan catered for my son's graduation party. Everything was perfect! We had the pulled pork, cole slaw and beans. Very generous portions. Great value for the money and absolutely delicious food! We also have ordered carry out with the Texan and they never disappoint. I highly recommend this place!
