“We tried it for the first time today, after months of meaning to stop in and support local. There was nothing that disappointed!! From the friendly faces, to the amazing food… all fresh, very generous portions, great prices and absolutely delicious ❤️ we will definitely be returning and trying more menu items. We had cheesesteaks and fries, looking forward to fish on a Wednesday soon!!”

“This is one of the worst restaurants Ive been too. There was 3 tables in the restaurant and nothing was right. It took an hour for 2 burgers and a pasta meal. The waiter brought food to our table that wasn’t ours, touched the food and then delivered it to another table. I know of at least 3x while carrying food the waiter had his thumb on the food. 1/2 our table was done eating before the other part got their food. The soda tasted like cleaner and our cups sat empty most of the visit. The only thing I have nice to say about this restaurant is the waiter himself was nice.”

“Food was great and plentiful. Service was prompt. The eating atmosphere was noisy and the beverage fountain was not working. We will order carry out again, but unlikely to dine in.”

“My husband and I live in Granite City and yesterday we made the trip to Manchester, IL (near Roodhouse) to visit my husband's dad's grave. On the way home we stopped here. It was obvious from the second we walked in that it was family-owned type of place. Very welcoming and friendly environment. Our waitress was the owner's daughter, and she couldn't have been sweeter. We split a double cheeseburger, fish and fries. Very good food and service! We definitely plan to go back, and we would absolutely recommend this place to others. :-)”

“Peppermill Grill and Chill: a restaurant sent from above. I can truly say that my experience here could not have been better. The food, phenomenal. The staff, phenomenal. Everything about it, phenomenal. The aura of Peppermill is indescribably jubilant. This restaurant is genuinely the cream of Winchester crop. Peppermill is a first-class restaurant, and I will be recommending it to everyone I meet. Although it is 2 hours from the place I call home, I would make the drive any day. Peppermill will always have a special place in my heart!”

“One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite on a busy day. The staff is always nice and friendly. Super clean. The mozzarella sticks are my personal favorite. The cheeseburgers are light and delicious. Definitely recommended!!!”

“Nice, roomy place!! Pool, slot machines, and arcade attached. Nice menu of bar fare as well! Could not stay long, but I will definitely return! They also have barrel tables and they are fantastic!”
