I don't get out here enough. This place has always had a special place in my heart as my family has come here many times for special events like birthdays and Castelli's has never failed to impress.Parking: There's always a place to park here, which is great, especially if you have larger parties.

The food has changed it seems. The chicken isn't as good as it used to be and they NO LONGER HAVE REAL BUTTER which is a biggie for me since I do Not eat margarine because it isn't good for you so no bread with butter or potatoes with butter. You get whipped margarine. The salad was pretty good and the service and atmosphere was Great.

Portions are generous and the quality is good. Back dining area is claustrophobic with low ceilings and very tight seating. When the tables are full you can barely walk through. We found the house salad to be somewhat boring so we would try something different next trip. There are many things we have not yet tried so I think it deserves another chance. Fried chicken is the best thing we’ve had so far. This place has a stellar reputation so give it a try and see if it works for you.

This place is delicious. Everything each of us had was great. Prime rib was great. Fried chicken was great. Fettuccine was good. Can't wait to go back! No wonder they have been in business since 1937!
