“Chubby's grill and garage is a wonderful place to grab a big juicy burger, fries, and appetizers. Great food specials weekly, as well as drink specials. It is family friendly. The staff are all super friendly people. The owner is a stand up guy, and you can tell he really cares about his customers and he treats his employees with love and respect like any great owner would. I would HIGHLY reccomend this place to ANYONE looking to have some great food, drinks, and fun. The hours are 11am to 11pm, kitchen is 11am to 10pm. this place is an absolute gem 💎.”

“Celebrated a friend’s birthday and the evening could not have been better! Our server, Rose did a fabulous job. 4 out of 5 of us had never dined here before and Rose was so helpful with her recommendations from the menu. We started with a couple appetizers, toasted artichoke hearts and stuffed mushrooms. Both apps were very good. My pepperloin with a side of blue cheese and bacon potatoes was delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. Tony’s is a great place for a special occasion or a date night. We will definitely be back!”

Always a good time. Sam and Woody are not serving you it Missy, Michelle, or as they call Cheyenne " the new girl" you can't go wrong with any of the three. And if you are lucky enough to run into Elliot or some other regular faces, you have a great day ahead!”

Most places like this the workers don't interact an check on the customers... She greeted me checked my identification then ask if I'd like a drink very friendly then wished me luck. After that checked on me here and there but wasn't bothersome.. I had great time...”

“Their loaded potatoe soup is more like a loaded mash rather than a soup, although really yummy. I wanted to order a sandwich but noticed the sandwich assembly station from the register and noticed the kitchen staff wearing no gloved making sandwiches. I would fix this just to instill a better idea of cleanliness.
My first time coming the staff were extremely rude and rushed us to order with an empty restaurant. This time was slightly better.”

He eats biscuits and gravy sausage links and fried potatoes there. when before we went there he wouldn't eat anything but McDonald's. so glad to have this place to go to. “First time visiting here, and I had an amazing time. The first thing is being able to see the actual brewing station the moment you walk into the door. I love seeing the history of the building, and you run across a little history trip all its own.

The staff- 100/100 rating if I could! Everyone was a joy, and even gave a run down of how things were made from local farms. Informative, amazing people!

The food and drink were the best! My husband and I ordered flights. My first time having a flight and it was so fun taste testing the flavors of beer!

I ordered the strawberry grilled cheese. Sounds odd, but it is absolutely mouthwatering. Ask them for pickles!! They are super crunchy and have an almost hint of kimchi spice - super delicious! Hubby got the pretzels with beer cheese and he said they were great!

Let's not forget that herbarium tea! I love, love, loved the lavender and lemon grass. Will definitely be ordering a case or two so I can enjoy such here at home.

“I had one of the most liberating experiences for the first time I took the stage at the conservatory on an open stage , 10 min slot. So much fun on April 22. 2026. I believe and my hat goes off to the whole establishment and Scotty 2 Hottie sends out positivity and always in high spirits . awesome event every week. “I've stopped in here a few times since I live just down the road from it. The times I've gone in, it wasn't too busy, but they tell me they have a good time on a Saturday night. It's really not your best bet if you want food. They serve your basic frozen pizzas and the like, but nothing remarkable. Sammi's Subs, next door, is another story though. EXCELLENT sandwiches (but they aren't open late). Like another reviewer said, I think Norb's is a great dive-bar with some pool tables and darts. Probably the most fun if you bring a friend or two, and preferably ones who like to play pool or darts. I believe they were cash only at the bar, and they didn't really have a lot of drink specials when I went. So bring cash.”

“Hong Kong House - How Happy I am to have you opened again! The ONLY Chinese Restaurant in the Alton area that serves REAL Chinese Veggies in their meals - NOT frozen peas, carrots, & corn. I ordered the Veggie Fried Rice - served with thinly sliced carrots, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, baby corn, and bamboo shoots just to name a few. We also had Hunan Chicken Combo Plate with Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon - Yummy. Again lots or real fresh veggies without being over loaded with huge chunks of onion. Love Love Love the food here”

Both times food was ready within 15 minutes and quick. Crab Rangoon here is fantastic, not the small pre-made ones. They are good sized and fresh.
