“I scoot through here pretty regularly. The staff are always quick and polite, and the drinks are always good! I'm a but addicted to the Chai, in all honesty. But the other day, I tried to come through for my usual only to find the place was closed. A sign was posted on the drive-thru intercom that read: "Sorry, closed due to high temperatures within the building".

At first, I was a bit disappointed. I was really looking forward to a little treat before I went into work. But after a bit, I was actually glad to see that.

It's felt frighteningly common for businesses to put profit over employee wellbeing these days. I used to be a pizza delivery driver, and I still have memories of being forced to deliver food during a harsh winter storm in 2016. It was so refreshing to see employees being prioritized over profit, even for just a little bit.

Here's sincerely hoping Scooters continues this behavior, and more businesses follow suit.”

“I gave them a picture of a macaw dressed as a pirate for a birthday cake and asked for yellow and red borders. And I put in the notes that it was for a Hawaiian pirates themed birthday party. The absolute hero of a decorator ran with our idea. They put palm trees, a pirate map, beautiful colorful flowers and made sand out of graham cracker crumbs!!! They could’ve done the bare minimum but they went above and beyond and knocked it out of the park. This cake was a masterpiece and the decorator deserves a raise! Thank you so very much!”

“The burritos here are the highest grade Taco Bell burritos possible. When working with Taco Bell ingredients, you can only make Taco Bell food.
Still, this location makes better burritos than some other, nearby locations. I know that you may think that identical ingredients make identical burritos, but I'm telling you, these ones here? They're a little better. The other places do them worse than this place does the burritos.
I don't know about the tacos though. I'm more of a burrito guy.”

“Our order was wrong however it was ok to eat. However, I ordered a double cheese burger and it looked like one patty plus a couple of pieces of a broken patty. I ate it and am only letting you know so you can let your staff know. I did take a pic only for you to use it in training. I do wish you had a way to privately message you without everyone knowing.”

Do not come in expecting anything "american traditional" like Dominos, Joe's Pizza, or any other pizza place in St. Louis who bog down the pizza with cost effective cheese, stale dough, and inconsistent pie creation. The pizza was extremely fresh, well thought out, and simply delicious. Don't miss out on Michelin Star quality wood fired pizza. 1929 is truly a gem and one of my favorite places to eat in the Greater St. Louis area.”

Messaged to complain, turns out it was totally on me and I input the order incorrectly. “Literally the best food in the Edwardsville area. The staff is extremely welcoming and the atmosphere is very nice. Whether you’re going for a burger and fries or a steak dinner, you will get the best of the best. If you haven’t had a steak from Moussalli’s yet, you are missing out! The wings are my favorite and the fries!!!! Not just your regular steak fries! They are truly magical! Do yourself a flavor and make your reservation. You won’t be disappointed.”
