“A place that has been in business for 95 years, in the same building, deserved a visit. When I heard this, I had to take that short drive to Madison, Illinois, to see what this "fish sandwich" craze was all about. I walked in and felt as if I had falling into a time capsule. I mean that in a good way. You had locals at the bar, talking just shooting the breeze. There was a constant flow of foot traffic. The server was patient and very friendly as she balanced cooking, taking orders, and interacting with customers. Not missing a single beat. I was very impressed! So she handed me the brown paper bag. I couldn't wait to get to the car! This sandwich was huge! A beautiful golden crust! Light, not overpowered with seasoning. The homemade tarter sauce. Banana peppers and onions. In between two slices of soft Italian cream bread. Simply delicious is all I can say. This place was worth every mile driven. Great job!”

“Friday and Saturday enening is 1.00 dometic beer all evening and when you meet Tori you will know your home!! All the bartenders are awesome! Marggi in the kitchen will FEED YOU RIGHT?!!!! A definate!”

“The establishment was trash free and extremely clean. Walking in, I knew they were very busy at the edwardsville location. There was a large group of ministers, a few college kids, and a seated section full. I came in in uniform after a long shift just trying to get a good, fast meal for my kids before I have to do Groundhog Day all over again. Employee “JJ” saw me through the crowd and waved me over to complete my order. He was outgoing, social, and smiled the entire time. That means a lot to people. He thanked me for my service, and refused to accept we all are in it together as I thanked him back. He even somehow made a makeshift table for the ministry group in town so they could all sit together. JJ has customer service figured out already. Whoever his parents are, whoever his manager is, man, I would be proud. I can tell he is a hard worker who is polite and probably doesn’t complain much. Thanks JJ for making my long day just better at the end. I’ll be back!”

“Excellent food and service. Best Italian in the neighborhood. Would have been 5 stars but they really need some type of window covering. It was around 5:30 or so and the sun was beating in my side of the tables eyes. You seriously couldn't see anything. Other than that, which lasted about 45 minutes, the place was perfect.”

“Oriental Spoon is my favorite restraunt! Their meals are not only delicious, there's a great variety to choose from. I've almost ordered every item on their menu over the years that I've eaten here and every item is fantastic. Mostly I've ordered take out recently since I live farther away, but in the past dined here as well. My only wish is that they have more locations. Cannot recommend them enough!”

“Wonderful food, atmosphere, and Cocktails.Smash burger was excellent and sophisticated with quality beef and pork, carmelized onions, and a soft potatoe bun. Fries are shoestring and a mix of regular and potatoe fries which was a nice surprise.Cocktails also well done and reasonable price.”

“My small group stopped by Sneaky's prior to a concert at the Wildey Theater across the street. Sneaky's exceeded our expectations by far. Our waitress recognized we were in a slight time crunch, so she had us in and out in under 30 minutes. We ordered a double burger and tots with queso to share around the table. That burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had! I'm a tough burger critic, but this burger was perfectly juicy, perfectly cooked, and the taste was god-tier. This will be the burger I compare all other burgers to. The tots are not to be forgotten! They were perfectly cooked, crispy outside and soft interior without the excess grease or taste of a fryer. Each one in our group made audible sounds when we ate our first tot and we kept going back for more! The Sneaky Sauce was delicious and very flavorful! I have a hard time thinking of something that wouldn't be good on. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Sneaky's and very much look forward to our next trip there! Until then, I'll be dreaming about how great they are!”

“Chappy's is off to "right side" of Wang Gang. I don't know much, but of one thing I'm sure: the fries (delicious) come from the same place as Wang Gang's, same size, same texture, same golden brown. I had a two-patty burger, lettuce wrapped (also delicious). The house salad was fresh, and poppyseed dressing just right. Thanks, Chappy's, for a perfect burger and fries meal.”

“Great place, highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for an upscale pizza location. They also have a lot of salads to choose from as well. Much to my surprise, they also have many beers on tap that are brewed by them. I tried one and it was pretty tasty. This place can't be that old either, everything was pretty clean and new. Good customer as well.”

“The food is superb. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is great. My husband and I decided to go to Sugo's for our 39th wedding anniversary. We were very happy with our choice. The salads were huge and delicious. I had the Ceasar Salad and my husband had the Special Strawberry salad. We also ordered the cheese and olive appetizer. For entrees we had the Lasagna and the Tutta Mare. Both were excellent and we had to bring home half of each due to the generous portion sizes. We will definitely be returning to sample some of the other items on the menu.Kaila, our server, did a wonderful job and was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to the great food, staff and atmosphere, my husband and I had a fantastic anniversary dinner.”

“i've enjoyed many meals in this establishment, and I've never been disappointed and always highly pleased!! This particular trip was only with the intent of enjoying one of their Bloody Mary with a close friend. As usual, it's just the best thing ever ina bloody Mary! Condiments of dill pickle, a baby slim Jim, olives, green bean, lime and lemon as garnish completed the perfectly balanced drink! The service is phenomenal.... server Lauren is beautiful, clean and efficient moving quickly and fluidly. The ambience is better than just about everything in the area. The one thing that I question is the little bit of dirt and dust on the mirror lol .......it does add to the ambience, of a small town bar and grill!! overall it be hard-pressed to find a better place for a Bloody Mary and great food.!!”
