I said hi and got no response from a fellow customer. The counter person seemed business like but not welcoming. The building is unique and spacious. I did not see electrical outets readily available to charge phones or run laptops. It seem like a chic place to take your high school sweet heart, write about the good old days of steam boats or read a good novel. Not like your Starbuck for computers,tablet,iphones.... This place had what is probably the best cup of drip coffee we have ever had. We have traveled a lot, and been in a lot of coffee shops and this one wins out. Also, the staff was super friendly and helpful (we asked for local lunch tips and they gave us a great one), and the atmosphere was great. We highly recommend Post Commons if you happen to find yourself in Alton.
