“A wonderful establishment! The new cook, Mark, is definitely on the ball. The food was cooked made to order, accurately dressed, quality and quantity was two thumbs up. The atmosphere is quietly pleasant yet enough pep to get the spirits going. It is a good place to gather with friends and family or just a quiet evening out solo or with a significant other. This establishment is kid friendly, but most adults choose family time here during the day or dinner. The evenings are most enjoyable being in a non discriminate establishment with a variety of positive kind folks. The staff are extremely catering to each individual wants and they are very patient, respectful, and kind. The staff practice universal precautions in sanitation throughout the hours of their shift. This is a family friendly, stranger friendly, everybody friendly environment. What tops this place off is the most affordable prices from the alcoholic beverages to the appetizers and main dishes. I highly recommend this particular social restaurant to frequent. This is a place of safety and will help contribute to a well balanced quality of life!”

“The best place to get a quick lunch in Wood River, IL. They make the famous Swiss Farms salad from downtown Wood River from years ago. Home made poppyseed dressing and crackers are included. It is cash only and they are only open from 10am-3pm. They used to let you come inside the little building that used to be a gas station, but now they use the walk-up window, thus the 4 stars. It was sleeting and 30 degrees outside! I'll be back. Love the Swiss Farms salad!”

“Great value for the quality of food served. Less fat on their steaks than Texas Roadhouse at a $10 savings. Friendly properiters run the place. You can talk to the guy who cooked your ? steak. Another one of the fine local Alton Mom and Pop restaurants that makes Alton unique compared to the chains of Fairview Heights and Shiloh.”

“This place is awesome. I forgot the name of the staff member that waited on me (apologies), but she was cheerful and friendly. We had a lovely little chat about the menu and I ordered a bunch of food at a reasonable price. It was a cold day, so it really hit the spot. It was comfort food on the same day I had to take a test. “Posting from my boyfriend's account (25f)I went in to the East Alton location today wondering if I could use my virtual card and have them manually enter it in since I don't have my physical copy of my debit card and wanted to get my five year old daughter some dinner, but they couldn't do that. The young gentleman at the front counter who helped me showed me unrelenting kindness. After asking the manager on shift, and being told they were no longer allowed to enter card info in manually, this astounding young person asked me what she wanted, and I said nevermind it's alright, and started to walk away and he says "no, ma'am what do you want?" and said he wanted to pay for my daughters dinner so what was it she wanted. Thank you! You were the third place that denied me being able to use my card, I must have looked pretty disappointed. And for whatever reason, you paid for her dinner tonight. While $6 may not seem like a lot, it meant a lot to me. Times are tough out here and you have restored my faith in humanity once more. So thank you again.”

“Service was incredible. I'm not sure who my server was, but he was bubbly and energetic and seemed overjoyed to help out when we ordered. When he brought our food, he actually ran back in the restraunt with our card to pay for our food and then back out, it must have taken him less than 20 seconds. Incredible guy. Probably the second time I've eaten at a Sonic, but I got a super sonic burrito (I'm pretty sure?), and it was great.”
