This little corner cafe is a great hidden gem in the heart of downtown Alton! The atmosphere is wonderful, and so is the food love that we are supporting a local small business and the people that run it are very pleasurable to deal with! Come check this place out Alton!!!
Me and my boyfriend came into Alton for the day to walk around and have lunch. We did not have set plans on where to eat, so when we came here we were rolling the dice. I loved everything about this place. The man at the front was very nice and attentive. The music was a great addition to the atmosphere. This is a mom & pop type diner. Nice blues and oldies music playing. Self-serve coffee area. I ordered waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon & extra bacon. Everything was good, but my bacon was cooked a little too hard where it crumbled up.We also ordered hashbrowns, turkey sausage and cream of wheat. Great customer service, friendly people and clean.
