The inside of the bar has all the things—huge and beautiful wood bar, tables aplenty, TVs playing all the sports all games, slots, and the best part of all: Ricky the bartender, who welcomes everyone regardless of who they are with a warm smile and story after story to make you feel like you are at home. “Excellent dive bar. I discovered, Town Club on Facebook and started following them. They really caught my attention by posting their daily food specials. Double Cheeseburger with Crinkle Fries and Bubba's Taco's were two that really tempted me for my first visit. I went for lunch with plans of ordering the daily special, Bubba's Tacos. However, once I got there, read the menu and chatted with the bartender, I ordered the G-Man. G-Man, is a 1/2 pound, hand breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. It was huge. I trimmed it down to just a little bit bigger than bun size, so I could pick it up to eat. The breading was a crisp thin coating, that had just the right amount of seasoning. It came with a side of crinkle fries, which are my favorite style of fries.I am a big fan of ketchup being served in little cups. For me it is more sanitary then having a bottle sitting on the bar or table. I requested just a smear of mayo on my sandwich. To make sure I had the right amount, the chef gave me a packet, so I had control. He even came to me and asked if it was enough, or if I needed another. Which I didn't, one was perfect. The customer service from the bartender and chef was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was a true old fashioned neighborhood dive bar. It was extremely clean and inviting. Now that I have experienced, Town Club it may become one of my go to spots for lunch.“

“Mick is always good to visit with and on his word. Josh is a true brother and the pool table is the best in town. If you don't find anything you like about the place you should go ahead on and find somewhere else to be. Bar keeps always courteous and honest. Cheers Riverside. “I stopped in here for a day drink, and was surprised that an IPA was only $2! However, they only take cash, so be forewarned. It's a unique bar that used to be an old fire house of at least 100 years old. Very friendly folks and the bartender was very nice, she knew a little about the place too. I'd recommend stopping here for a watering hole.“

This place has always had a special place in my heart as my family has come here many times for special events like birthdays and Castelli's has never failed to impress.Parking: There's always a place to park here, which is great, especially if you have larger parties.“

They offered karaoke and the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves quite well. The bartender Scott was on point and very polite. “The piano bar aspect of this place has been truly amazing every time I've been which is what they claim to be. So bravo! It does sometimes get crazy busy which is what every business wants but it gets crowded and service gets slow. The bathrooms have always been functional and the dual levels add a super cool aspect. I mean the beer is cold and it's a really fun atmosphere. There is a covered patio in front with tables and chairs for the smokers. Parking can be tricky but that can be said for every location on this strip. I've been multiple times and would go back.“
“I had a ball... Everyone was awesome, the drinks are not skimpy, the ladies are all beautiful, and I left happily intoxicated.. I will be going back soon and often.. At first I thought I would feel like an outcast, be eyeballed, or made to feel uncomfortable.. Total opposite reception!!“
“Nice clean and friendly environment, with a great view of the bridge. Only two trucks present on Saturday light, but good food offerings, and one of the best bars and "mixologists" in town! Lots of people inside and out enjoying the rare beautiful summer evening, perfect temperature, comfortable Adirondack chairs, and great music presented by the Buzz Tones! They sounded great! What a wonderful downtown Alton "date night" experience with my wife!!!“
