“If you like local dive bars and pizza this is the place to go. Their pizza is the bomb ? The staff is friendly and most of the regulars are too. Lol. They also have an AMI jukebox, an ATM machine, several TV screens to watch sports games, and video gambling machines. They have a back patio with seating for smokers and they usually have heat out back when they remember to refill the propane tanks. It’s usually just one bartender waiting on everyone and making the pizzas in their pizza oven. Drink a cold one and enjoy the atmosphere while you wait. ??“

“The food and staff at 54th St in Glen Carbon are great but I REALLY HATE how after the remodel they can’t open the patio doors. What is the point of even saying you have a patio when it is all closed up.“

“I was there for a few minutes. I’m not a drinker or someone you usually find at a bar but I love the hometown familiarity. Many people I grew up with were there. The owner is a fantastic, tough as nails, iconic type of woman. We need more business owners and entrepreneurs like her. I’ll write more when I have more to say! I believe Sue & her establishment deserve a full 5-star review.“

“Food was delicious and reasonable.
Wheelchair assessable, inside is non smoking with a covered smoking area and plenty of seating. They also have pool tables and slot machines and free popcorn. One other thing their Hotwings are the bomb with their special sauce. Not to hot but hot enough to have one of their ice cold beers to wash it down and ready for another bite.“

“Went there with a friend of mine last night. I haven’t been there in about 30 years. The margaritas are homemade and very good. The food and service was also very good. We left our appetizers on the table when we went outside. When we came back they were gone. Not a big deal. We were already full and totally not upset about it. However, when this got back to the cook, he immediately came over to us, apologized profusely, and very kindly offered to make us new appetizers at no additional charge. We declined and told him it wasn’t a big deal, but it was very nice of him to come out and talk to us about it. I’ll definitely be back with MORE friends! 😊“
“What a gem! Best dive bar in a cornfield I’ve ever been too. Never heard of the place and randomly wandered in. Bobby and Gary were skeptical, but as always, I prevail with finding the right spot and that right time. Proper 12 a following, darts, small but welcoming. If you see Bobby and Gary shooting darts there and sipping some whiskey, be sure to tell them that I said “I told you so!”“

“Best smash burger in Collinsville seasoned perfectly with two different cheeses and a toasted bun, so good you don't need any other toppings. Multiple fry choices and a good selection of on tap beer. Good atmosphere with attentive bartender. I might just become a regular.“

“We had lunch today at The Refinery Bar & Grill and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, as well as the atmosphere. The waitress was pleasant and the food came out promptly. “Amazing food, awesome drink selection, friendly staff and great entertainment from live music to slots. Enough TVs to enjoy a game as well. I have been here a few times now and each time I come I love the community family feel that is still fun and lively, no shortage of a good time. Can’t wait to come back, my recommendation is to always try the food on special and play mo mummy !“
