“Over the years, Bella Milano has been a favorite restaurant for me and my wife. We love the food, service and atmosphere. I have also done dozens of business seminars there and utilized their catering. My wife recently celebrated her birthday, and she was craving Bella Milano's Lasagna. Our visit started well as our reservation was on time and we were waited on by a friendly waitress in a timely manner. Our appetizers came out quickly also. However, there was a much longer than normal delay in our entrees coming out. The waitress did stop by to apologize for our wait twice which we appreciated, but the wait was becoming an issue. A gentleman whom we later found out was Tom the owner, stopped by to apologize and then gave us free appetizer cards, comped a portion of our bill and even included desserts. He was very friendly, but more importantly, very sincere in wanting us to leave happy. He let us know that our food would be out in a minute. We were really impressed and it felt great to be appreciated by the owner and his commitment to giving us a great dining experience. Well, Tom came back a minute later and told us "You can't make this up, but when they were taking your lasagna out of the oven it fell on the floor". I can only imagine what was going through his mind as he came back to tell us this news! He said it would take 20+ minutes for another, which really didn't sit well with us at this point. The worst part was that was what my wife really wanted for her birthday dinner. Tom immediately asked my wife if there was anything else he could make for her quickly and at no cost to us, but that he would make a new lasagna for her to take home as well. I simply can't say how impressed we were with Tom's dedication and sincerity to turn a potentially very negative experience into a positive one. There are a lot of restaurants we can go to, and thanks to Tom's efforts, Bella Milano will remain one of our favorites! If you want to go to a restaurant where you know your business is actually appreciated, think Bella Milano's!“

“My husband and I stopped in during the Pride event just looking for the first place we found with food, and not only was the music and atmosphere super cool, we got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and I swear, it was THE BEST pizza 👏🏻 I’ve 👏🏻 ever 👏🏻 had. You can tell right away this isn’t some cookie-cutter bar. It feels like the kind of place where strangers become regulars after one visit. Misty and her daughter Mystical were incredibly friendly and made all of us Missouri guys feel right at home. Great service, great drinks, live music, and just an all-around good vibe from the moment you walk in the door. I went on karaoke night, Tuesday, with DJ J-Nelz. I had a lot of fun Drink specials for my friends who drink (while I have something non-alcoholic). Prompt, friendly service from a bartender who has some pipes!

“Wife and I stopped by while doing our own little bar hop visiting Belleville. First 2 places we visited we weren't impressed with. Saw Demos while looking for other options. Walked in and immediately felt a very welcoming vibe! The bartender (Sam) was great, and she overheard we were hungry for a pizza. Bobby and Gary were skeptical, but as always, I prevail with finding the right spot and that right time. Proper 12 a following, darts, small but welcoming. If you see Bobby and Gary shooting darts there and sipping some whiskey, be sure to tell them that I said “I told you so!”“

“We frequented this restaurant when it was in Fairview Heights and finally got a chance to visit the Highland location.
We made it in during happy hour and I got a $5 raspberry margarita. I was prepared for what you might expect from a $5 raspberry margarita, but I was wrong. It was fresh and a perfect balance of tart and sweet without being overly syrupy.
We shared the 16 oz ribeye and from first bite, it was heaven. Flavorful, beautifully marbled, delicious.
I also loved the vegetable of the day, honey carrots, and my boyfriend liked the crunchy fries a lot. The plantains I ordered were a little over cooked, but that didn’t keep me from eating most of them.
Overall, we had a great time and awesome meal… we will be back!“
