The Vault / Hawkins Burger Bar is an outstanding addition to downtown Mascoutah. The atmosphere is welcoming, the building is beautiful, and the service is top-notch. The restaurant was just remodeled and very inviting. It has a nice vibe and is a great place to gather, with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is super friendly, and service is at the counter with delivery to the table. The drinks are excellent and clearly made with care. All burgers are smashed style. Meals include the Crack of Dawn burger, the Nest with Swiss cheese, the Patty Melt, the boneless wings, salad, BLT, and chicken wrap. The fries are seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the side chips are spot on. The Ranch is great. The ice cream and liquor are available. This is an excellent location to catch a Blues or Cardinal game with a group. Highly recommend.
