The food here was absolutely delicious, the waitress was excellent and gave good recommendations, the outdoor seating was great. There was one small problem I had which was a dirty knife, it still had food residue on it. However the staff was very understanding and took care of it.
I’m a fan of Tavern and what they offer on the menu. I’ve had a variety and have enjoyed it all. Service is usually pretty solid. Some of the seating options could improved but overall, it’s a solid place to go to.

Friendly staff, well-cultivated menu, and 30 beers on tap with a great selection of micro and craft beers. Feels like the Cheers of Belleville. We had the Sweet Italian Salad with blackened chicken to start and the boldness to follow. Fabulous visit. We will be back.
