One guy told me Spanky was actually Andre Iguodala (Golden State Warriors) but still came here after games to hang with locals. One woman thought he was an alien that came here to bring some joy to a fairly gnarly neighbourhood. Who really cares, the spirit of Spanky is what matters and the joy it brings to all. “Great atmosphere for a player to be able to relax and have a great time. The ladies to men ratio 3;1 the kitchen is open for appetizers while the music keeps you grooving with a fine mix of R&B Hip hop and Blues. The drinks are always happy hour prices. The whole decor and construction of the ultra-bar is a upscale scenario where as the price is not heavy on that wallet. Perfect balance the owner has pulled off. I highly recommend it. “Ok guys let's have a quick talk about Kokes. I'm a first timer here. But I decided on the All American Burger. A burger with egg, cheese, and bacon. Easy. Aaaand wow. Nailed it. Just add some mustard and you've got yourself a sandwich you can't put down. Not to mention the wings and the tamale we had for an appetizer. The surrounding neighborhood does not reflect the atmosphere here. On the way I though, where the hell am I going? Leaving here I know where I'm going again.“
