The ladies to men ratio 3;1 the kitchen is open for appetizers while the music keeps you grooving with a fine mix of R&B Hip hop and Blues. The drinks are always happy hour prices. The whole decor and construction of the ultra-bar is a upscale scenario where as the price is not heavy on that wallet. Perfect balance the owner has pulled off. I highly recommend it. “A great restaurant. It has an old world feel as the building was built in the early 1900s, everyone is friendly, and the food is excellent. They have food ranging from traditional pub meals, pizza, and Mexican food, all of which is very good and prepared in house by an outstanding cook.“

“This place is a vibe. It’s a lot of fun to play old arcade games ranging from pinball all the way up to Mario kart. It’s always busy when you go. The bouncers usually pretty nice. The service is mid. The bartenders are not super friendly or nice, but the drinks are very sweet and reasonably priced. The pizza is a highlight, forsure, after you have been drinking, it’s nice to be able to just grab a slice. They say they also offer full pizzas, but when we went, it was too busy so they were only serving slices. They exchange you tokens for money to play the games. We ended up walking out with a lot of extra tokens. it has a nice outside patio that has fire top tables and TVs outside as well as a bar and outdoor seating available. There’s a basement that has another bar and a bunch of games as well. The branding is on point, they even have merch available which is very cute. Overall would recommend, you don’t even have to come drink here, it’s fun enough with games alone!“

“FINALLY! Somewhere in St. Louis knows how to make a burger right. This is seriously the best burger and fries the city has to offer, and their menu is appropriately priced. I was also pleasantly surprised they carry Delirium Tremens. They have a super laid back atmosphere to boot - play some pool while you're there! Definitely don't sleep on The Drawing Board.“

The cider flight was perfect as was our appetizer, main meal and dessert (hey, ya gotta have dessert when the rest of the meal was so awesome!). We wound up taking 2 growlers of cider with us and will be back again!“

“Doit's Village Inn. What can I say negative about this place. Absolutely nothing. I've been going into this bar for numerous years. And I've always been welcomed with a smile from the bar tender , too the kitchen cooks , to the customers. 5 stars for the food. 5 stars for The cook at Village inn, Mr gravy. One of the nicest men you will ever meet.. I met 2 gentlemen while shooting pool just 2 days ago. And shot pool with them and chatted for 4 hrs and enjoyed myself. I've made many of friends here. If you have never been here then you need to stop in, play there slots 5 stars, have some drinks 5 stars order some food 5 stars. Thank you every one.“

“I've been coming to this eclectic, artistic, ever-changing bar for years. I do miss the Rastafarian cooks from the old days in the late '80s. It is a mandatory stop for a drink or three whenever out of towners want to do something a little" different ".

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

“This is a great little neighborhood bar! It has all of the South City charm and a lively vibe. Drink prices were fair, but they are heavy on the pours, so be aware of that lol We went mainly for the karaoke which was run masterfully! The sound system was very good and it was very entertaining. Everyone watching the karaoke was beyond supportive, clapping and hollering for every person who got up to perform. We live in Soulard and typically drive nearly 40 minutes for karaoke, but I think we have found a great place closer to home! Highly recommend and we will be back soon!“

“I like this place because the drinks are always mixed really good...good music always playing plus 8th inning offers alot of different games to play while your there..keeno..pool... pinball...and they have keroke every Friday.
