Best bar for live music and mosaic art. Cash only bar with ATM onsite. Worth the visit for the art and music, especially when Liquid Gold plays.
I saw the best mime show of my life at Venice Cafe and that’s saying a lot because, as everyone who knows me knows, I am a mime show connoisseur. My favorite part of the show was the dragons that they slipped through the tear in the space/time continuum. Highly recommended bringing cash as the ATM works when it hasn’t been cursed by the Witch of the Woods but she’s been on a tear lately and they’re still working on the protection spell.
Venice is a St.Louis gem, one of a kind venue with great music and good vibes. I was so grateful to see Blues Legends James Crutchfield and Bennie Smith there! Tight space but move around, the atmosphere is really artistic and dreamy!!

The staff is friendly, and the place offers nightly entertainment, including open mic nights and live music. From the first floor to the upstairs and various patio areas, there is always something interesting to see, making it a mandatory stop for those looking for a different experience. However, the door guy's attitude can sometimes be off-putting, which is unfortunate given the otherwise lively vibe.
