“Love this place! Brussel sprouts alone are worth a trip. Husband loves the old fashioned prepared by the talented Nate so much he calls it “baby juice”. Becoming our go to place for date night.”
“We love to go to the Fountain before going to the Fox. Always great food and service. We had exceptional service from Andrew H.”
“4 stars for fingerling potatoes. 5 stars for Sleigh Bells “Rill Rill”.”

“Went for dinner with my 4 sisters. We'd had a bad experience the night before at a restaurant across the street and were a little skeptical about a place that focused on calzones. We figured it couldn't be worse and decided to give it a try.
For 5 people, we ordered 1 bite side (spinach artichoke), 1 small salad (Caesar), 1 large salad (Smokehouse), and 2 calzones (Meet me in St Louie and Bull's Eye). We had more than enough to satisfy all and everything was delicious. Yes; everything. We also got 2 deserts - Caramel Apple Pie and the special which was Blueberry Lemon. Those were also delicious and we, honestly, could not finish them.
Very casual atmosphere with great service. If we had stayed in STL longer, we would have gone back.”
“This was a wonderful cocktail bar. The mixologists were super personable and so much fun! The drinks were delicious and inventive. Thanks for a great night!”

“A friend and I went out on a Sunday evening to celebrate my student loans being forgiven and her move to a new condo. I made the reservation well in advance and looked over the menu to see what I might want.
We got there when they opened. Our table was right by the bartender in the front area, and due to all the shaken cocktails, it was intermittently difficult to hear each other. We did all right, though, sharing about our lives, mutual friends, and upcoming plans. We had some edamame and roasted Brussels sprouts, steamed buns, and a maki roll apiece. We also each ordered the Chop Shop, a cocktail/mocktail that went towards an employee's top surgery. Always nice to support other trans folks and businesses that behave like real allies.
The price was completely reasonable for what we ordered. It's certainly a place I'll return to when there's something else to celebrate. But I'll try to get a seat away from the bartender.”

“This is a must for great coffee and breakfast! The owner is super sweet and makes the most amazing ice cream. You can't go wrong by stopping in.”

“We ate at the Denmark location on our recent vacation to St. Louis. the loaded chili cheese fries were to die for! And all our food was great! Our server Joey was fantastic! Highly recommend a stop if you're in St. Louis.”
“Excellent experience!! All the food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly!! Our family will definitely go back!!”
“I've been here a few times now and really love this restaurant! They have an excellent happy hour special! Really great frozen drinks and snacks! Servers are always on top of things and very friendly. Would recommend coming here!”
“Tried this place on my trip to St.Louis. I ordered a vanilla cup. The custard was just delicious. It was so creamy, smooth and shiny.
This place is packed with people so you would have to get in a queue and wait a little.
There is plenty of parking nearby.
I would definitely recommend it! MUST TRY!!”
“Great pizza, great salads, great apps! I usually take out of town guests here because it never disappoints! While I usually dine in, they have a good takeout setup, too. Lunch is great for salads and sandwiches. Dinner is great for pizzas and salads. The bread is great any time of day!
Parking: Parking can be challenging during peak times. You may need to park down the street and walk!”
“My dad had been telling me about this place since you all opened and this is the first time I got to experience the deliciousness for myself. Dad had a burger for the first time that he can remember and I enjoyed the BLT! highly recommend!”
“Fantastic ribs, fast friendly family oriented environment”
“Cocktails. Food. Service. Music. Vibe. Everything was top tier. Had a lovely time and we will be back again. We made a reservation on Google, it was simple and we got sat right away. Can’t wait to go back!”

“First time here. Delicious food and drinks! Fantastic staff! My new favorite restaurant.”
“There are not enough stars to rate Katie’s. I needed a place to accommodate a large but unconfirmed number of guests for my husband’s retirement lunch. I spoke with Janelle a few times and she listened to everything I had to say. I was concerned about people traveling from all over and not having a precise headcount. We opted for a reservation in the main dining area and Janelle, Simon and the entire staff exceeded every expectation I could have had. They helped move tables around as more people showed up, they gave great food recommendations and were overall just very helpful and personable. They even treated our group to complimentary tiramisu and ricotta donuts. The mascarpone crema was incredible. I don’t know when we will be back in St. Louis but Katie’s is already on the agenda! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!”

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.”
“Great food, great service, great atmosphere, & great vibes!!!”
“Really good food! Fantastic service, very good food selection, simply outstanding.”
“Tonight our pickup order was about 20 min late. Apparently there was a new cook doing the dumplings. We just want the new cook to know that you may have had a tough night, but your dumplings were excellent. Thanks!”
“Excellent service, fantastic food, and stylish (and still comfortable) decor. Good cocktails and wine. Nice temperature control too. Best steakhouse experience that I have had in some time. I cannot wait to come back again.”
“The murder mystery was so fun! It’s the first time I ever went to one. I was not impressed by the food, and the actors missed their lines a few times, but it was still so much fun. It’s very interactive”
“Broadway Oyster Bar is amazing!! We went 3 times in 3 days because the food is delicious, the service was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was incredibly cool. Becks out in the Beer Garden went above and beyond for us - she was the reason we came back the second day! She was a very gracious host and always on top of things all on her own in the Beer Garden! The Beer Garden on the back corner has a full bar, full menu and service, a TV and tables with umbrellas. By far our favorite spot. We enjoyed our oysters and drinks the entire weekend!”
“Consistently delicious food and drink menu with an attentive staff and relaxing atmosphere. Try to get a spot by the floor-to-ceiling windows for the optimal experience.”
“Its simply a WOW! BEST falafel I’ve had in the mid west up-till now and thats huge. Beautiful atmosphere in and out, plenty of patio and garden outdoor sitting. You can see and feel they really put their hearts into it. As I’ve heard same owners opened two additional upscale restaurants in the neighborhood, got to try them out. Beteavon”

“Decent acoustics if you don't get there late. If you get stuck under the balcony, better to go up to the balcony. This is my favourite small venue in Saint Louis.”
“This is the face of a VERY happy birthday boy. The driver was professional, and very kind to the children. Multiple people around the area were excited to see the ice cream truck too. He did our party and other sales. How he managed that I will never know. Because the kids were coming in left and right. I was excited that this business had sonic the hedgehog ice cream. But they exceeded my expectation on the variety of treats. We purchased bracelets for our party guests so the driver could know they were with the party. It worked out beautifully. I was actually able to purchase extra sonic the hedgehog ice creams and snocones! I will definitely be using them in the future. Great reasonable price and so friendly.”
“Our PTO had the truck out to school. They accommodated a special selection of treats and served everyone quickly. It was a great experience! Students and teachers loved it.”
“Just had the greatest waffle house experience of my life. Shout out all the employees working on this fine Sunday but an extra loud shout for Linda. She made our day. We will be back!”
“The worker “Princess” was amazing!!! She really did a wonderful job with keeping everything together. Amazing personality, very sweet, and made sure to check on everyone even when they were extra busy. If I come back the 3.5 hours I will be stopping by here again just to see her!!”
“My family ask to say Merry Christmas and say thank you for buying the Ford car that had a Handel no stearing wheel from 1901 with wooden spokes from herold niffin my step father from Benton Illinois back in 1985 thank you from our family to yours”
“Second time getting fried chicken wing; they were cooked to order, hot fresh and well seasoned. The service was sufficient even though they assumed I was paying with EBT, had to tell them 3x I wasn't before they understood why I wasn't paying yet. Store is crowded and items don't have prices on them, that makes me uncomfortable.”
“I was overly excited and appreciative of the sweetest manager Karin she had the best customer service I’ve had in years please promote her asap
Vegetarian options: Delicious”
“Our every weekend breakfast place!
Dietary restrictions: We need Splenda and Sugar Free syrup. Never a problem!
Wheelchair accessibility: We often bring a friend in a wheelchair. There are several booths easy for us to use- even if we have to wait for them to open up.”
“I like it everything.Good and delicious food, clean place.Good and kind workers”
“A pretty great little White Castle location - the service is pretty solid for a fast food restaurant, the sliders are great, and the drive-through is efficient. About all you can ask for at a White Castle!”
“White Castle is a St Louis Staple fast food restaurant chain that dates back to over 100 years! A historical favorite! There's a lot of food and drink options to choose from.
I ordered four cheeseburgers with extra pickles, fries, and a large drink to go from this location. After I drove away and started eating, I noticed that the burgers were not fully cooked. They are normally grey through and through, but these were still pink across the middle. I usually like my meat completely cooked. That's just my personal preference. I ate them anyway because I was hungry and had a 30-minute drive. The food was still good overall. Always be sure to check your order before leaving. Lesson learned.

“went there for a birthday party everything was great about it from the drinks to the staff nice chill environment will definitely go back soon!”
“One of the best quality and priced wine lists you can find. And as good as the wine is, the food is even better. You have to get the mac and cheese! Great new outdoor patio out back as well.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Did carry out and even though they were busy my order was completed quickly. Also the sandwiches are awesome. We had a knuckle sandwich, queenie, baddabing and italian beef wet with hot pepper. We all shared a piece and they were all great.”
“Sugar Witch is housed inside the historic Carondelet Bakery. Their diverse staff of all genders fosters a welcoming community with every ice cream sandwich they create. Each treat is infused with nostalgia, individuality, and queerness, making every bite a celebration of inclusivity. While all of their ice cream sandwiches are absolutely delicious, my personal favorite is the "Weird Sisters" ice cream sandwich. And yes, while you might read reviews about it being expensive, the perceived expense of their ice cream reflects their use of high-quality ingredients, labor-intensive processes, specialized equipment, energy requirements, regulatory compliance, and small batch production, all of which is underpinned by a commitment to fair staff compensation.”

“Great homemade food. Staff are wonderful. Great place to go.”
“Delicious!! My husband and I ate lunch there today and the food was amazing and the people were so friendly and sweet. We loved it! This will definitely be a new go to spot when we are in St. Louis. ❤️”
“This place is so good. Even my 2 year old son loves the kid bowl.”
“What a joy it is to walk into Adriana's when there is no line! (RARE!) That would be, maybe, right after opening, or just after the lunch rush, around 2ish, and things are wrapping up.
I like to call in my order, but still have to wait in line to pay. Part of the meal is soaking in the atmosphere of checkered top tables, and a lot of history.
If you like soup, ALWAYS ASK. The minestrone is out of this world. I think the soups change like St. Louis weather, so you never know what it'll be. Chicken pea was the last one I tried and it was just as awesome as all the others.
Everything tastes like mom made it (if she was Italian and a stupendous cook.)
If you haven't been here yet, and I mean YET, get yourself in! They do have veggie options, and other items besides sandwiches, but you really should give the sandwiches a try. My go to is the Gorgonzola dip that comes au jus. If I'm less hungry and wanting something less hearty, Sunny's Veggie is a nice choice. The bread is fresh from the Hill, and you can tell. The sesame seeds once warm on the bread with butter and garlic really send you to heaven for just a second.”
“Tried this place for the first time after a long travel day home to the Lou and we will DEFINITELY be going back! The quality of the sushi is superb and was some of the best tasting sushi we’ve had in St. Louis!!! Can’t wait to go back!”
“Simple 6-table Vietnamese restaurant in a strip center right on Telegraph Rd. Food was great, service was quick and efficient. Nice mix of Pho, entrees and drinks. Highly recommend.”
“DELICIOUS SMOKED Smoke N Bones BBQ! and so FRIENDLY! ❤”
“The cookies are delicious. I love that the flavors change weekly. Mini Mondays are a great way to taste the new flavors and then you can go back and buy bigger versions of your favorites ?”
“Picked up a few times recently. So great! My favorite is the OG Fresh and my son likes the Seoul Delicious with a bag of chips. Had to add on the shiitake last time because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. As you can see, I tore it up! Went a few times in the city. Now conveniently located close to my eye glass place and one of my son’s favorite bakeries. Be back soon.”
“First time here. Delicious food and drinks! Fantastic staff! My new favorite restaurant.”
“Great food, great service, great atmosphere, & great vibes!!!”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Chuck-A-Burger is the last old school 50s drive up burger joint for cruising in STL. They're keeping it incredibly real, and it's easily the very best in at least a 100 mile radius for this very specific culinary experience.
It's amazing, and so very, very specific as a piece of Americana. The cultural connotations and personal memories are generational -- I hope they never close.
I strongly recommend their Vintage Melt -- a class grade BLT with shredded iceberg, two sirloin smashburgers, thousand island dressing, and preposterously melty American and Swiss cheese, on two nicely buttered slices of Texas toast. All served on styrofoam with two napkins, directly to your hot rod door.
Don't miss Chuck-A-Burger; they've reached perfection.”
“We recently moved to the area from Florida and were in search of great St. Louis BBQ. We dined at many establishments and though the food was good, we were not wowed until now. Dalie's Smokehouse Was exceptional. The food was phenomenal and the customer service and attentiveness were superb. You could tell that thw folks at Dalie’s didn’t just want our business, they wanted us to have a wonderful experience and to become a part of the family. We found our spot. See you again real soon.”
“Made an order to the wrong location. Riley and Steve helped fix the order so I can pick up at this location. 5 star service 5 star food amazing place to do business with!”
“Great food and service. I'm obsessed with the chicken bowl! The chicken is juicy and the herb sauce with cucumbers makes this dish special.”
“Food top tier!! Cabbage is so good and oxtails the best!!”
“Woofies is just a really solid hot dog, hamburger, and Italian Beef place.
The dogs are the star of the show. Chicago style and others. Really good hot dogs. The best I've found in STL.
However, don't discount the burgers and Italian beef. The burgers are smash style, and done very well. Classic fast food style, but done very well.
The Italian beef I can't really judge. Its a new sandwich to me, so I can only compare 5-6 other places. Its legitimately very good to me, and I occasionally get it over a dog or burger.
Fries are good, but not amazing.
They have cherry coke, which is relatively unusual and appreciated.”
“At most restaurants our daughter eats her fries and maybe part of a burger or chicken nuggets. At Macs she eats all of her burgers first and doesn't always finish her fries. She calls Macs the best burger ever. And I agree.”
“Amazing food!!! my favorite Greek restaurant in St. Louis. It’s actually owned by a Greek.”
“I travel with my job, i have been to several Chick-fil-A restaurants, Florida, Tennessee, St Louis, Illinois, Carolina they ALL are kind, fast, respectful, & welcoming. Whom ever arranged the training process for the staff at this Company needs to be rewarded. I can & will be a spokes person for chick-fil-A best fast food of all time!”
“Literally the nicest husband and wife duo. The food is phenomenal and you can tell it’s made with love and not rushed. The humans that run this are THE nicest people you will ever meet. I love how much they try and get to know their customers and do it all with a smile on their face. Literally obsessed with the food. All of it. So delicious and such huge portions. Always have left overs and well worth the price.”
“Halloween themed Hole in the wall.Cash only, Cheap, One Pool Table, Covered outdoor area, Tables on the back patio.Laid back, macabre atmosphere, dark lighting. Good for grabbing a couple of beers with friends, a 1st date, or spending the night with strangers. Many people that come here live in walking distance or a short drive away.”
“Great staff and great service. We enjoy them, all year round.”
“Cocktails. Food. Service. Music. Vibe. Everything was top tier. Had a lovely time and we will be back again. We made a reservation on Google, it was simple and we got sat right away. Can’t wait to go back!”
“Thank you sauce on the side Wentzville for great customer service. I appreciate you guys going above and beyond during my last visit. due to the nature of my order takes a little longer to make. You’re so kind to offer a free soda while I waited. Something so small can make a visit and await so pleasant. Thank you for helping me work through my order”
“Uniquely decorated inside, and it's beautiful. Outside patio is awesome, loved the music, We had amazing service as well♥️ and great food!”
Fine Dining
“Wonderful dinner while in town with colleagues for business! Nick (our server) perfectly timed our experience with every course! His recommendations were spot on, especially the Lobster Voodoo! Thank you for a great dinner!”
“It was an amazing experience and I loved everything minute of it and the employees were all super nice. Definitely recommend for date night!”
“My uncle Cass was a waiter at the park Plaza hotel in the 1930's and 1940's and he would be proud that the great tradition of fine dining and service still exists in 2024. FYI. When my uncle Cass was a waiter there back then there was a piano player that wore a plain black tuxedo that played in park Plaza side lobby. His name was liberace. I am a musician in st. Louis in muny opera and fox theater orchestration and in the 1980's I used to play liberace whenever he came to st Louis. Liberace always stayed at the chase then because Sam and Harold koplar owners of the chase gave liberace his first steady job in music biz way back in the 1930's. My uncle Cass gave me an original menu from the restaurant . From 1942. You would love the prices today. I also used to play music in the t room when not playing in the theater orchestras. My uncle and liberace are smiling down on the staff and the great tenderloin room at the chase park Plaza. We also used to play big name acts in the khorrazzann room at the chase. I played the rat pack there along with so many big names in our music business. Enjoy your visit to one of the finest restaurants with real class in st Louis. And remember. The chase is the place. Thank you. Mike buerk. Musician in st. Louis.”
“Wonderful food and service. We had the 5 course dinner with wine pairing and it was very well conceived and prepared, plus the service was attentive without being overbearing. We enjoyed our server who was great at explaining the menu with a fun sense of humor. The flavors were sharp and balanced and the reductions complemented the main feature perfectly. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off and the staff weren't able to turn it off so there was a lengthy loud period of piercing sound. Absent that it was a really enjoyable evening.”
“Celebrated our daughter’s birthday at Fleming’s tonight. Ordered a medium rare ribeye and it came out medium. They were very apologetic and got us a medium rare one promptly. Excellent food, service, and management. Much better and smarter than J. Gilbert’s who got us a bad steak and wouldn’t apologize if or replace it. They just shrugged. Looking forward to our next visit at Fleming’s despite the rather pricey price tag. At least you get what you pay for there!”
“Thanks for convincing us we needed Ribs! My daughter said it was "like eating candy, they melt in your mouth." They were amazing! We'll be back soon!”
“Great food, across the board, appetizers through to desserts. Wine and cocktails are well paired and made. Service is great also.”
“chefs Scott and Sierra are amazing. just tried from the new seasonal menu and the elk was beyond awesome. great food. great service”
“I didn't go to eat this time. I just went and had a quick drink at the very awesome bar with my new buddy Gary. Reservation still needed. This is a reservation only spot. I love it. Almost 100 years old. Such an institution.”
“We just celebrated our anniversary, and we're so glad we chose ESCA.
We ate outside, and though I wish the outdoor seats were more comfortable, the experience was perfect.
Food and service were amazing, we plan to return!”
“Great food, great beer, and great folks in a great space. They really have it all—even a patio! Civil Life was already my favorite brewery, but they went above and beyond to take us under their wing and make everything fun and easy for us when we had one of their casks at our wedding earlier this month! They have cask beers available on draft if you're into cask beer, which is a whole world I knew nothing about but am now very much into after learning more about the cask process/taste difference from Jake, who was so eager to help and share his knowledge. Thank you, Civil Life! ?”
“Thanks Mary for a beautiful spread for my Father in law’s Celebration of Life! A Toast to Terry! You & all the staff were amazing! Scott took great care of us! The food was delicious & the venue perfect! Lori “Wezee” Jurgensen”

“Food was excellent, service was great! Our bartender was awesome!”
“Visited with my 4 sisters. Took the Clydesdale VIP and Beermaster tours. We highly recommend both! Lunch at the Biergarten was wonderful. Highly recommend.
p.s. Having a taste of a fresh Budweiser, straight from the tank, was incredible!”
“Although the days of the free A-B brewery tour are over (RIP), it's still a fun experience and a cool look into the history of beer in the largest brewery in St. Louis. Highlights are getting to enter the Clydesdale's barn (which is beautiful and if you're lucky you'll also get to meet one of the Dalmatian puppies that accompany the horses), seeing the old brewhouse with its ornate railings and huge brew kettles, and checking out the enormous modern bottling lines and facility.Of course you'll be treated to some "free" beer along the way and you'll end up in the relatively-new Biergarden at the end of the tour where you can drink a few more beers and get tempted by the aptly-placed gift shop.I enjoyed this more when it was free but it's still a great activity, especially for people visiting St. Louis.”
“Best food! Can’t get enough, it’s a family favorite!”
“EXCELLENT food, family run, welcoming experience. We'll definitely go back”
“Lyndsay and Vicki are the best bakers. We live in waterloo and want the best sweets. Cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies, cupcakes and so much more. I have never been disappointed.”
“We were out on a Monday morning produce run for our restaurant and wanted a quick brunch. Service was fast, friendly, and delicious. Parking can be odd but it’s worth the Tetris.”
“I want to start by saying I LOVE GIOIA'S.... However they did something today that is totally wrong. I had placed a four sandwich order with work colleagues. My order was a roast beef sami with AU JUS... with out the AU JUS the sandwich is dry and not very desirable. It was delivered by door dash and the AU JUS was forgotten. I asked for a refund and was told that they are not able to do this as the AU JUS is complimentary. WTF is that !!! You guys are better than this and I would expect for you to make right on a mess up that YOU made. I think it will be a while before I order with my colleagues from Gioias. Its a shame because we were going there at least once a week.”
“I feel a certain way about ice cream especially Ted you know who, but Clementine’s salted caramel cookies and cream and the pistachio ice cream does something special to my soul!!”
“Impromptu date night away from the kids lead us to this place! We arrived at peak dinner time- 7:30- and shockingly there was no wait! I can’t imagine this will last for long, because the service is fabulous, and the food is delicious! We have really enjoyed the other restaurants by these guys- and Press does not disappoint! I loved the Lavender cocktail, Husb enjoyed the sweet take on the old fashioned. I also had the beet salad to start- but ate it too fast to get a photo! The smash pizzas have a delicate combination of flavors, are easy to eat and heat up the next day to continue the culinary enjoyment!”
“Has gluten free options, healthy fresh food and drink options. Love the staff and ambiance. I Always shop for plants or gifts in their gift shop after eating.”
“Ive been to the St. Louis location and just visited the Chesterfield location for the first time on Saturday. At 6pm they were pretty much sold out of meats, but I was able to get some ribs and corned beef. I think everything is brought over daily from the St. Louis location, so I imagine it can be hard to estimate business daily. The corned beef was awesome and a nice changeup from the brisket (which was phenomenal at the St. Louis location). The ribs were also stellar but I was pretty full after the corned beef plate. Their plates are 1/2lb of meat which i think is more than the typical place around serves. I am from MA and have tried a lot of popular BBQ places in the area but Stellar Hog has been my favorite by far. I think they could use a spicy traditional BBQ on top of the sweet. The heat level from the bbq pit beans would be great as a sauce. But the spicy alabama sauce is great on the brisket and corned beef. Keep doing what you are doing and dont take shortcuts! nice smoke ring on the meats and the food is hot, not served straight out of the warmer it seems. Two thumbs up!”
“loved our experience! we booked a private room and loved the ambiance. our server Scotty was very attentive and made it a great evening. food was delicious. my picky eaters loved the pizzazilla”
“I always have the best food and the best atmosphere. The restaurant inside and outside dining is just beautiful. It’s endless of the things that you can look around you is forever everywhere. The Chef is amazing. He can pretty much make anything you want, the way you (need) it. The specials are really good. Also, there’s more to choose than anybody could possibly want. The food is bought fresh for cooking I heard. I’ve been there too many times for parties and have booked my own parties. They also have an upstairs large dining room for these parties. They have so many different themes going on in activities going on on and on. It’s always different but it’s always makes me feel wonderful the whole package deal. You know what I mean :) The hostess will make sure that you are very well taken care and the staff are very excellent. I also go there for the coffee after dinner! Shhhh - I have went there just for coffee Lol”
“I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday on yesterday. The food and band were AWESOME. As a suggestion after the band is finish it would be nice and potentially bring in more people if a DJ came in and was set up ready to after the band. or either put a juke box in so the patrons can play music to keep the vibe going after the band. I will definitely be back! Also the food came out a lil slow so maybe that can get better as well.”
“Great cocktails, food, and service. Maggie was a great waitress!”
“Simply a great experience. The relaxed, travel-like vibe of the interior, along with great service and great wines make this a gem for sure.”
“Great drinks and friendly, knowledgeable bartenders. Can not recommend enough.”

The price was completely reasonable for what we ordered. It's certainly a place I'll return to when there's something else to celebrate. But I'll try to get a seat away from the bartender.”
