“4 stars for fingerling potatoes. 5 stars for Sleigh Bells “Rill Rill”.”
“Love this place! Brussel sprouts alone are worth a trip. Husband loves the old fashioned prepared by the talented Nate so much he calls it “baby juice”. Becoming our go to place for date night.”
“The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Thank you!”

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.”
“It was really good food and we were happy with it. Came for downtown restaurant week and tried a special. Only gripe was that we asked for one order of dumplings so we were confused when they came out with 3 for some reason. The server was nice but the order wasn’t read back to us so we weren’t aware of any misunderstanding. It tacked on an extra unexpected $20+ to the bill, which put a little damper on things, but I guess we had the chance to say something and just let it go. It’s a little frustrating but overall things were fine.”

“I just went to the fountain for the first time yesterday evening. I will definitely be back! If I lived in Stlouis I would go there often but unfortunately I live 2 hours away. I dined there with my sister and two of my nieces. Everything we ordered was so good! The cocktails are very good, especially the Love Potion #9 ice cream martini! We loved the dill pickle potato soup! A must try if you love dill pickles, you gotta try it! The hot roast beef sandwich, buffalo chicken dip, salads and sundae we had were all delicious! Our server was great too. I can't wait to go back!”
“My family and I are visiting St Louis and stopped in Cafe de Blaire for some ice cream. It was homemade and delicious. On top of that, the owner was sooo kind and warm to my kids. She gave me a sample of a coffee drink and it was delicious. I went back today for more coffee. The other worker was there and also very kind. I am a coffee snob and both drinks I tried were GOOD. We will be back tonight for ice cream. 😊”
“Went here for Valentine’s Day with my husband and was incredibly satisfied. Food, drinks, and intimate atmosphere are great. Service was lacking but because of the holiday, I’d excuse it. I’m sure it’s lovely when it’s less crowded”

“Lovely tea house with delicious, light pastries and savory tea sandwiches. The owners are family and are quite dedicated to their craft. The most delicious rose cookies and lemon sponge cakes I’ve ever had, there is a nice sparkling tea selection that we will go for next time for sure! This restaurant is elegant, while lulling you into a relaxed state and stimulating conversation with their regal atmosphere. I recommend making a reservation and do try the chai or earl grey teas! We will definitely be back. Cheers!
Kid-friendliness: This is more of a quiet and elegant space for adults to unwind.
Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp is wheelchair accessible, as well as the restrooms”
“Wonderful.
Nothing short of a great dining experience. Delicious yet not typical dishes served in a beautiful space (indoor and patio) by some very thoughtful staff. This is the spot to bring friends from out of town when you want to impress them with an example of what St. Louis can deliver. I will be back, often.”

“My experience at The Dinner Detective was an absolute blast! While the acting leaned toward the corny side, it only added to the charm of this interactive murder mystery. The detectives were a riot, keeping us laughing throughout the evening with their quick wit and playful banter. The script struck the perfect balance between lighthearted fun and engaging intrigue, making it an ideal night out.
The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, encouraging everyone to relax, mingle, and fully immerse themselves in the whodunit experience. While the food was what you’d expect from hotel catering, it didn’t detract from the overall enjoyment of the event.
If you’re looking for a fun and unique way to spend an evening with friends or family, The Dinner Detective delivers laughs, mystery, and memories in equal measure. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a good laugh and doesn’t take themselves too seriously!”
“First time that we have ate at Ruth Chris and the service and atmosphere were excellent. The food was decent, but expected something that was spectacular. Also went for wife’s birthday and all she received was three necklaces of beads. And daughter’s salad was not very good.”
“A hidden gem in St Louis. Wood burning fireplaces, an awesome patio with a pizza oven, and amazing food options. Stop in for a quick drink or spend an evening or afternoon with friends—such a great place! Wine Tasting Mondays are a must and Pasta Tuesdays aren’t too shabby either. Stop in and say hi to Joe!”

“The worker “Princess” was amazing!!! She really did a wonderful job with keeping everything together. Amazing personality, very sweet, and made sure to check on everyone even when they were extra busy. If I come back the 3.5 hours I will be stopping by here again just to see her!!”
“Second time getting fried chicken wing; they were cooked to order, hot fresh and well seasoned. The service was sufficient even though they assumed I was paying with EBT, had to tell them 3x I wasn't before they understood why I wasn't paying yet. Store is crowded and items don't have prices on them, that makes me uncomfortable.”
“This is my second time that I have stayed at The Courtyard by Marriot, and I really enjoyed it. I love that, as a Disabled person, I received a room on the first floor. They have a really spacious lobby and eating area as well as an in-hotel-restaurant that is essentially Starbucks, but it IS nice to have that as an option. The room was big, and clean with lots of space to sleep and work. The only thing I would say is that I wish the hotel market had more options. Like some frozen pre-made meals or ice cream.”
“As usual with other waffle house restaurants, the food was very good.
When we first walked in, though, a manager was screaming at the top of her lungs at an employee saying “no, no, no, no!“ four walking out of the cooking area into the back room. Of course it got everyone’s attention and the employee’s as well. As a guest of the restaurant. I just don’t know that type of correction was necessary and definitely not out front with all the guests.
When seated, we did have to ask repeatedly for refills on all of our drinks, which was a bit of a letdown for a waffle house. From over 20 years of experience with this restaurant chain, that is one Service you could always count on, was quick drink refills. We understand getting and keeping good employees is difficult these days and has been over the last many years.”
“This place is wonderful. Make it a date night experience. Food is off the charts amazing. The staff is attentive, caring and kind. This is one of those Gems.”

Takeout Restaurants
“This place is amazing! The atmosphere is all blues and the history of blues. The food is that of a St. Louis Deli, with some New Orleans added for those who want to live a little extra! I had a Muffulatta it was a single serving and that was plenty enough! They also several it in half or whole sizes. That should feed a family. My friend had the Creole Deluxe PoBoy. That was also delicious! I highly recommend this deli!”
“Cute small shop. Ice cream was delicious. I also tried the Canoli Latte. That was ok, not large or hot enough for my personal taste, but the flavor was nice. My daughter had an iced lavendar mocha, which was delicious. Staff is very friendly and has a great sense of humor. They do cator to GF and VEG as well.”
“went there for a birthday party everything was great about it from the drinks to the staff nice chill environment will definitely go back soon!”
“Amazing event space for a group! Staff was friendly, drinks were delicious and food was tasty. Little warm on the patio but views and atmosphere are great. Looking forward to coming back!”

“I finally made it and really it’s worth 100 stars , The chicken salad is probably the best salad in Stl , everything about it is perfect , chicken soo good , lettuce chopped with tons of parsley, all ingredients top notch and the dressing is excellent. I had the spinach pie for dinner and it is heaven . I’ve already planned on nesting 2 sets of ppl there! Can’t wait to go back!”
“This was such a nice quiet place tucked away. The meal pictured was just 1 meal we split in half between the two of us. So it's safe to say they don't skimp on the portions. Our wait staff was very friendly and quick with our service. Would very much recommend this for those looking for a smaller town/mom and pop type atmosphere.”
“Impromptu date night away from the kids lead us to this place! We arrived at peak dinner time- 7:30- and shockingly there was no wait! I can’t imagine this will last for long, because the service is fabulous, and the food is delicious! We have really enjoyed the other restaurants by these guys- and Press does not disappoint! I loved the Lavender cocktail, Husb enjoyed the sweet take on the old fashioned. I also had the beet salad to start- but ate it too fast to get a photo! The smash pizzas have a delicate combination of flavors, are easy to eat and heat up the next day to continue the culinary enjoyment!”
“After seeing the review with Mr.Chimetime, I begged my husband to drive me almost 2 hours to this place, It was definitely a cool little spot. People were very friendly. But when it came to the food. Whew my feelings were hurt the brisket was flavorless and dry 😭 Nothing like what I saw in the review. Ribs were tender but i was not blown away by them, sides were the same as well. Maybe it was bad Timing but this was a big let down. Consistency is the key to a good restaurant. I will give them another chance, but I'm not in a rush to get there. I was wanting so much for this place to blow me away because I love food. And I was so excited to try them. 🥺”
“This place is amazing!!! I cannot say enough great things about it!! Everything was fresh and full of flavor!!! My kids loved the doughnuts, my husband’s breakfast sandwich was the best we’ve ever had, and my summer vegetable sandwich was out of this world!!! We will be back as soon as we can!!”
“Cocktails. Food. Service. Music. Vibe. Everything was top tier. Had a lovely time and we will be back again. We made a reservation on Google, it was simple and we got sat right away. Can’t wait to go back!”
“Uniquely decorated inside, and it's beautiful. Outside patio is awesome, loved the music, We had amazing service as well♥️ and great food!”

Fine Dining
“This is one of my favorite places to eat at in Soullourd especially when I want some oysters, it is a really cool spot. They have great music in bands that perform. I love the atmosphere in the people. I've been going for so many years. And they're still number one in my book.
Dietary restrictions: They do post the restrictions that they have, and you can change up exactly how you want it with no problem.
Parking: When it comes to parking, there is a lot of parking. It depends on how early you get there and also The Times but I'm usually getting a spot right in front or on the back parking lot..
Kid-friendliness: I really haven't seen a lot of kids coming there only a few. So I guess it just depends on your preference if you want to bring them or not.
But I don't really no about that.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible, but it's also of every tight. Squeeze as well, but out on the patio. There would be no problem at all. In the bar area, depending on the night, I think it would be difficult.”

“We experienced the Clydesdale VIP tour yesterday and highly recommend it. Our guide was Randy and he did a fabulous job of sharing information regarding the history of Anheuser-Busch and how the Clydesdales became part of their iconic signature. The biggest thrill of the tour was meeting Lester, a semi retired former lead horse on a Clydesdale team. We were able to able to talk to him, pet him and take photos with him. It was a dream come true experience!”
“We did the Day Fresh tour on a Thursday morning (10:30am) in June. The tour lasted about 90 minutes with several stops during the tour. We visited the Clydesdale horses and stable, fermenting and bottling buildings, sampled beer while we learned about the ingredients in Budweiser beer, took a trolley ride back to the staring place, and ended the tour with a 20oz draft as part of the tour. Also part of the Day Fresh tour, everyone over 21 was given a bottle of beer that had been bottled less than 24 hours before. This tour was great-make sure to spend time in the gift shop after the tour. So many fun gifts and souvenirs. Highly recommend!!

“My husband and I come here all the time. It’s a 30 minute drive for us but it’s completely worth it. I had their seasonal gingerbread ice cream recently. It comes with a gingerbread cookie that’s made in house. Best gingerbread cookie I’ve ever had in my entire life.”
“Been 30+ years since I had one. SLINGER at Chili Macs Diner. Original OT Hodge recipe. 2 cheeseburgers, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, covered in chili. Plus toast! Tastes the same! Soo Good! The waitresses are definitely old school and a lot of fun. Wish I had their energy. 11/10”
“Went here on a Sunday as soon as they opened up. Can’t say I’ve ever eaten such home cooked food from a restaurant before. Their roasted potatoes were crunchy but melted in your mouth as soon as you chewed into them, their qofte was so flavorful and moist, the Mediterranean omelette was SO GOOD. Olives in eggs are a new add-in for me, but so good from here! Will definitely be going back!”
“The food was amazing. Best Gyoza I have ever had. Lick your plate good.”
“It is a cute place. There are kiosks to order. Service is extremely fast given how busy they are. Lots of option and they are good. You just have to try til you find your favorites.”

“The food was delicious and the service is top notch- attentive and catering to your group! Great options for group dinners or as a date night. You will not be disappointed! A neighborhood delight!”
“Me and my co workers came here when we visited St. Louis for a site visit. Loved the outside area, bet it’s nice in warmer weather. The beers were good, I had their Czech Pilsner. We also ordered a lot of food off the menu to share. Wish the pot pie had a little more salt but everything was still good!”
“The waiter was excellent! The food was amazing. The entire staff did a awesome job with greeting and service! I will definitely be back🎉🥰”

“I went to Pizzeoli last night with a group of friends and had an amazing dining experience. We started off with the Deep Fried Chanterelles and Chili-kissed Garlic Knots - the chantrellles were delicious and came with a chili ranch sauce that I would love bottled for home use. The garlic knots were a cut above your normal pizza place fare - melted in my mouth and garlic to butter proportions were perfectly balanced. It should be noted that their drink menu is extensive (along with their pizza menu - so many great options!). I chose the Athletic Cerveza - a great Non-alcoholic beer that ranks as a personal fav. I also like that Pizzeoli had multiple NA options as a non-drinker. On to the main course - my group chose the Andy (a current special with white sauce and mushrooms), the Lumberjack Snack (pep and bacon on red sauce) and the Meatball pizza (as recommended per their chef - meatballs on white sauce!). All three were delicious and cooked to perfection - the right amount of bubbles in the perfectly thin curst. I kept trying to choose a favorite and couldn't decide - would personally recommend a white sauce pizza but the red was also awesome! The grand finale was a banana split dessert pizza and ice cream sandwiches. A hot dessert pizza with the perfect cool toppings, I'd stop in just for an after meal treat some time. The ice cream sandwiches were delectable and fun to share with the table too. The atmosphere of Pizzeoli transported me to a simpler time when going to a neighborhood pizza place meant a friendly staff, unique decorations (check out the light shades over the tables!) and quality craftsmanship. A new favorite - highly recommend!”
“The best experience! Staff was so kind and helpful. Even with my crazy kids being wild, they were still so warm and patient. Food was FANTASTIC. Think lutong Bahay…but better?! The time, care, and attention they put into their cooking is evident from the house made syrups, marinades, and baked goods. Mabuhay, Manileño!”
“You live in Saint Louis and never visit this place, you may be missing out on something truly delicious food. The service is exceptional and the people here are very friendly and welcoming. 🤤”
“Great people and food. The Persian black tea was amazing!”
“Great cocktails, food, and service. Maggie was a great waitress!”
“Saw Leonid and friends last Sunday to an almost sold out audience. They were fantastic! Can't wait for them to come back
We parked behind the Pageant in a lighted lot.”
“My husband and I had visited family at SLU hospital and were in the mood for Italian food. Found this restaurant on Google and am so happy we did! Wonderful food, great service and a great atmosphere. This will certainly be our to go to restaurant from now on!”
“Our wedding in February 2024 was a dream come true! Grbic helped make our day absolutely perfect. Leija was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with and quick to respond to all of our needs. The ceremony was held on the covered patio space and the reception in the Luxe Room which is gorgeous! The homemade food was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and fun. We were able to borrow almost all of our decor from their closet which was an added bonus. We are so happy we chose Grbic!”
“Absolutely wonderful service from Nikki. We were a large party and Nikki did an outstanding job serving our table. She was friendly, fast, and informative. Thank you Nikki.”
“HiHat is absolutely one of my favorite places right now. Bar kills it, kitchen kills it, and if there is live music, they will kill it too. Great spot!”
“Our service was second to none!!! Samatha, Savannah Jolie and Tim!! Food was incredible. The whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our family loved the entire evening. Thank you!”
“We just left and had an amazing experience!!! From the food, to the server and the young man clearing our plates. Absolutely wonderful!!! Will definitely be back again - very soon!”
“THIS POST IS ABOUT THE HOLLYWOOD CASINO LOCATION.... I SAW NO OPTION TO REVIEW ON THAT PAGE. HOLLYWOOD CASINO CHARLIE GITTO's.... MELISSA IS AN AMBASSADOR TO YOUR BRAND!!!! After taking our Grandchildren for pics with Santa, we stopped at Charlie Gitto's and were WOWED by Melissa and her teammates. Our four grandkids; ages 13 to 1, were all treated with respect, acknowledged and included, and able to see for themselves what kind of great service they should both provide in their future careers and expect from the providers they choose. The food was great, (veal, steak, seafood pasta, calamari, mocktails and cocktails, apps to dessert all was wow.) The table was perfect for our needs. The kids weren't trapped in a booth so if they needed they could have gone to restroom... but they were never bored or impatient. Everything was timed perfectly. Our Middle fella could watch the kitchen while he anticipated his dessert. Melissa coordinated the food runners, bussers etc all while making sure we had all we needed for a wow evening. Seriously.. management... listen.. I don't know her but If I thought I could hire Melissa away... I'd try. Do what you need to keep her and people will keep coming back. My wife and our grandchildren were all very happy to have a dinner we won't forget. Bottom line... the kids talked more about dinner than they did about Santa. Thank you Melissa and thank you Charlie Gitto's.”
“It was such a great time! Food excellent, wine even better and the atmosphere was so awesome. Low lighting just a great vibe”
“First time going and loved the vibe/decore!!! Met the owner and so enjoyed her and the hospitality!!! Definitely will be going back!! The food/drinks/music was so enjoyable!!!”
“The food is amazing. The location is great. The service is impeccable. This is THE place to be!”
“Bartolinos South is our favorite nice restaurant. Not only is the food consistently wonderful but they always work to please you. We celebrate all special occasions there. Recently we reserved their front room which holds a max of 16, I believe. They went out of their way to make the setting perfect (even bringing in a small table for our use). Our waiter, Karen, was discreet in providing us perfect service without interrupting our shared conversation/memories as we were toasting a dear friend on her birthday. I can’t say enough about how flawless they made our luncheon. Bartolinos will remain our favorite not only for the quality of the food but for their personal attention.”
“Consistency in quality, flavor and service is always a given here at Trattoria Toscana. Whether a table of 2 or large parties. Great private room for large celebrations. A small family business that includes YOU in their family every time you walk in the door. Become a regular and they’ll know you by name. Catering from them is top notch options and portions. Highly recommend this South County restaurant for a Taste of Italy!!!”
“Been enjoying The Royale most weeks since 2015. Best bar and restaurant in town. A gem. Chill tavern vibes, DJs, local art, gorgeous courtyard, old movies, vinyl records, and a stellar menu. Owner Steve is the best. Get the fish tacos, a fresh margarita, a local beer, or whatever you’re into. Hell, I’m about to head there right now writing this review. I’m not even joking.”
“Nancy did a great job! She was very attentive and friendly. Our favorite appetizer (crawfish bread) came out expeditiously. The salad was fresh and the entree was delicious.”
“Love! Food and drinks have been great- can’t wait to try the brunch!”
“Great wine, place to lounge and relax with friends . Best bartender and server”
“Amazing place for an airport . Food was fresh and delicious . Nice flight of wine . Service was friendly and exceptional. Very chill place to take a break and relax”
“This is tough because our experience at this steakhouse should have been five stars. Our server was great -- energetic, personable, and enthusiastic. He and the other waiters wore red coats, adding to the strong steakhouse vibe. But... then came the shrimp cocktail. They might as well have been shrimp from a dollar store. There were four wet, slightly mushy, unimpressively sized shrimp. This was so sad, because the presentation was great -- a chilled metal vessel, a good amount of delicious cocktail sauce... the whole thing. But the shrimp. I mean, they could have served four super jumbo shrimp, still made a good profit, and made an extremely simple dish a star item. My advice? Go to a few big city steakhouses and see how they do their shrimp cocktails. Okay, now for a few positives: The steak was cooked perfectly and had a good char. Was it the most flavorful steak we've ever had? No. However, it was very solid. The creamed spinach was complex and had great flavor... but it was a somewhat small portion. The potatoes were good, but it was simply a scoop on a room temperature plate. They could do so much better serving it in a hot vessel with a little melted butter -- or garlic butter. Oh, and the bread. -- I think it was yesterday's. I'm sorry to say that, because it was was served warm... but it didn't seem like it was baked that day. There were other little things, like my napkin being taken when two place settings were cleared from our four-top, and also ending up with numerous utensils after our salad course due to what seemed to be just a notch less attention to that particular detail. So, all-in-all it was a solid meal, but it seems like there are other options in STL where you could get a stronger experience for the same money. However, with that said, Kreis' doesn't have to put in much additional effort to bring itself up to a five star level. You can do it, Kreis'!”
“Nick (Grass) took care of us very well. Not only was he very friendly, but let us know various types of drinks and the prices of them as well! We would absolutely refer him to anyone we come in contact with looking to have a great but valuable time!”
“Great food and fantastic cocktails. The BLT with a fried egg add goat cheese DELICIOUS”
“This is for people who want a fine dining culinary experience- the food was exquisite”
“Guido’s is the best! Every meal I have had there is top notch. It’s our “go to” restaurant!”
“So delicious! Every is just sooooo good. Take your time and try a bunch of stuff.”
“Peyton was a wonderful waitress. The food was the best. Lunch could not have been any better.”
“I love this restaurant. The menu is eclectic and the food is fantastic and the cocktails are really good. Great atmosphere inside and on the patio. I've been there for both lunch and dinner and the staff is very attentive and super nice. The Chicken Phad Thai Nachos are awesome!”
“My husband has been dying to try Katie's for some time now. We made our way here excited to experience real, fresh, delicious Italian food. Instantly walking up there's a nice outdoor vibe, not overly fancy, but very pleasant with outdoor lights, plenty of shaded area, plants for decor, and seating for various group sizes. The inside is also a fresh and modern decor. You're instantly greeted to be seated inside or out. I noticed right away their branding, pasta to cook at home and sauces for sale. The pasta is near white, which you know means it's real! So we knew we were in for a treat. Upon being seated we looked over the menu and couldn't decide what to try (note: there is a lot of Italian lingo on the menu). Luckily, with the help of our very friendly and sweet waitress, she was able to give us her recommendations and explain some of the other options to us. We decided to go all out and get started with bread service and the cheese sticks (note: some names of items were more Italian-I'm giving you the English cliff note version). That bread is AMAZING!!!! So fresh and delicious!! I loved the airy texture and simple but yet delicious flavor of the simplicity of fresh ingredients and love. The flake salt on top just hit the nail on the head. As for the cheese sticks, the breading was a softer texture but crispy from the cook. They were very large in size with a fresh cheese inside. Hot and delicious. The theme to this review is definitely how much you can taste the freshness and overall care and dedication this chef has to their food. It comes served with a side of marinara. There were 6 sticks total (our picture was a little late). We ended up choosing a pepperoni pizza (just plain style not the ezzo on the menu with spice and honey-my husband let me have my way), the fiama Marla bolognese, & the kids marinara spaghetti. The pizza was everything and more! Thin but fluffy crust, tons of flavor, cheese was the perfect ratio with a good amount of pepperoni too. It is not overly sauced, which we both enjoyed. Again, super fresh, perfect consistency on the crust and delectable flavor! My son (pickiest eater alive-meaning we had to flip the spaghetti over so that it hid the Parmesan Romano) LOVED his spaghetti! The noodles were more al dente than I cook them, but yet it tasted perfect! Both the hubs and I said we'd totally get the spaghetti with meatballs on our next visit. Now, as for the bolognese, we actually did not care for this one. It had a different, almost bitter taste we couldn't identify. The noodles in it though, so fresh and cooked perfectly!!! Plus, they were thick and delicious like no where else in St. Louis. All the portions were large, even the kids! They are also sauced in the best way, not overly sauced. I think what we figured out was that this place doesn't have to over compensate for anything because they use quality ingredients that they let shine in their cooking-it's that freshness and care that they are able to share the story of real Italian food! We loved that! It definitely shines at Katie's! Our waitress did a great job to come back and check in with us about flavors and any needs we might have-even with two young kids with us, she acknowledged them too. To our surprise when we advised at the boxing stage that we just didn't care for the bolognese, she had her manager come out and he apologized, even though it was our taste we made clear that was probably the issue, not them. In the end, he still comped that plate-not at all necessary, but overly gracious and it really shows of how much their service matters to them. That in itself rates high with us! You just don't find that kind of hospitality anywhere now days. We really felt like we were part of a family coming here to eat. That's just how they treated you. In addition they have a ton of Italian desserts we saved for the next trip, as well as a great wine list and Coke products for drinks. The restrooms were clean and everything was well kept. We couldn't be ”
“Sharpshooter Pit and Grill in Affton Missouri always has the best BBQ in town! All of the food on the menu is always fresh and delicious! You won't go away hungry and you won't be disappointed. Great friendly staff too.”
“I had the BEST experience visiting last week! I loved that there were so many different meal and snack options and the staff was so helpful! I got so many of the fall flavor menu items and all of them were SO GOOD! my new obsession is hands down the pumpkin cream cheese muffin — WAY better than starbucks!”
“Wonderful experience all around. From their delicious unique cocktails at the bar with very knowledgeable staff, to the amazing food experiences we had for dinner. Fantastic wine list with a really unique experience!”
“Last night’s visit to Farmhaus for my birthday celebration was truly exceptional. From the moment we stepped into this delightful farm-to-table establishment, we were enveloped in an ambiance of enticing aromas, cozy warmth, and genuine authenticity. The food, a harmonious blend of flavors and freshness, left us utterly speechless. Opting to share our selections among the three of us, each dish we sampled proved to be a culinary masterpiece. It was evident with each plate’s arrival that they were crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to using only the finest ingredients. From the irresistible appetizers to the delectable entrees and divine desserts, every bite was sheer perfection. We found it impossible to choose a favorite, as each dish offered a sublime combination of simplicity and flavor. The service was equally impressive, with the staff effortlessly balancing fine dining attentiveness with a laid-back charm. The impeccable timing of each dish’s delivery, coupled with the staff’s friendly yet professional demeanor, made us feel genuinely cherished and attended to throughout the evening. If I had to highlight one dish that stole the spotlight, it would undoubtedly be the wahoo fish with asparagus cream sauce. Caught fresh by the chef himself just days before, it stands as a true testament to Farmhaus’s unwavering commitment to sourcing the freshest ingredients. Truly, each dish we enjoyed was a culinary revelation, from the irresistible beef carpaccio with its luscious ancho spiced whipped cream to the rich and savory osso bucco, and the remarkably tender and flavorful beef skewers. And let’s not forget the delicately sweet strawberry tarte, a perfect ending to an exquisite meal. As a Taurus foodie who savors the nuances of fine flavors and a welcoming ambiance, I can wholeheartedly attest that Farmhaus has secured a permanent place in my heart. I hope to make dinner at Farmhaus an annual birthday tradition for many years to come!”
“This is the perfect venue for any large gathering or celebration - the best food,m and an awesome atmosphere!”
“Excellent, after a year and several months away from Iranian restaurants, Iranian food and Iranian atmosphere, going to Ehsani restaurant was like a therapy. The food is excellent and very high quality. After the meal, drinking freshly brewed cardamom tea with very delicious baklava worked like a miracle. My Japanese friend was amazed at the beauty, taste and quality of the food. It's a pity that we were not able to eat the traditional saffron ice cream that looked great.
We will definitely choose Agha Hadi Ehsani's restaurant for a meal in the next trip. They are very hospitable and friendly.

My Japanese friend was amazed by the beauty, flavor, and quality of the food. Unfortunately, we couldn't manage to try the saffron traditional ice cream, which looked amazing.
On our next trip, we'll definitely choose Mr. Hadi Ehsani's restaurant for a meal, as he was very hospitable and friendly.”
“I just finished some of the best food I've ever had. My partner and I got half a chicken and an order of aji amarillo curry to share, along with several sides. While everything was amazing, the rotisserie chicken might qualify as a religious experience. I laughed. I cried. I mopped up the trio of sauces and sucked the meat from the bones like an animal. Absolutely phenomenal.”
“I had the shrimp boil and the Brussel sprouts and potatoes that were crispy were fantastic. The sausage was a Great blend of flavor and heat. The shrimp were terrific. We had several rolls, sashimi soup, and fried tofu. The fish portions were very generous and the appearance of the plates was top notch! We will definitely go back home we are In town!”
“From the second we walked in, we felt welcome and the environment was so perfect and friendly! Shout out to Paul and the rest of the team for making our time there very pleasant and memorable! The food was legitimately the best ever and this location is incredibly kid friendly while also allowing for a perfect date night vibe. We look forward to coming back!”
“Best farmers market in the state if you love St. Louis culture.”
“Carmine’s is my favorite steakhouse in St. Louis. I have been a loyal customer at all of the Lombardo family restaurants my entire life and Carmine’s is simply the best. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is always 5 stars, never disappoints. I recommend eating here before/after a downtown event or game because the location is prime and has easy access to the highway. I always use their valet parking to avoid traffic at other downtown parking places.”
“My partner and I were impressed with the friendliness of service and amazing food. We will definitely go back. 5-star place, for sure.”
“Nice urban Israeli breakfast, brunch and lunch place. In new redevopment district. (Craft Alliance is a few stores away.) Nice outdoor garden. Inside nicely designed semi industrial feel. Quite loud inside.
Vegetarian options: Most of the menu items are vegetarian with two exceptions - 1 a lamb pita and the other a shakshucka with lamb.”
“Attended a birthday party here yesterday. Great ciders and food. Staff was amazing as well. Will definitely be back!”
“We have been lucky enough to eat Italian food at restaurants around the world, including many in Italy. Dominic's is up there with the very best of those. A bonus is the personal service that Dominic himself provides (including the singing!)”

“This China King is under New Management and when I tell you I went at the beginning of November 2024, ordered Chicken Egg foo yu and Fried gizzards .... DELICIOUS!!! The gravy on the Chicken egg foo yu is so good and their Fried gizzards are the best in St Louis, they practically melt in your mouth and the onions help make the flavor. And the food was fresh, hot and soooo good. This husband and wife team know how to cook, they are respectful and kind, and have not only my respect but will have my business from now on. Thank you!!! Glad to rediscover you here in Crestwood.”

“I have been there many times, and I have always received great service from all the waitresses. Carolina and Luisa will make you feel welcome and brighten your day. I've been through most of their menu and even asked them to pick a meal they thought was the best for me, and I was happily surprised at how wonderful it was. When they first opened, I had a going-away party for a friend with 12 people, and they could not have been more accommodating. Sidenote: if you've not had the choriqueso dip, you are in for a treat.”
“Traveling and just stopped for coffee. Was blown away by the charming atmosphere! And yes, like any real speakeasy, there is a secret which probably gets missed by most! Very cool! The owners are the sweetest and they have THEE best baked goods and fantastic coffee.”
“I have eaten here several times in the last few months, and I was very pleased with every aspect of the restaurant. The food selection and preparation was amazing, , the atmosphere was inviting and appealing, and the service was great! Very glad we've been there!”

“When I walked in, I realized the place was packed, but we were hoping the wait wasn't too long, they quoted 45 minutes, which was a little too long for us. There was 5 of us and we decided to sit at the bar. And I'm sure glad we did. We had a bartender, I forgot her name, but she had purple hair, she was the absolute best. Not only did she make amazing drinks, she made sure our food came out right and hot. She also entertained us the whole time we were there, by engaging in conversations. You don't see that very much these days. If there was a word better than perfect, that's how I would describe it. I'll definitely be sitting at the bar more often.”
“First time visit. Went for our anniversary. The attention to detail was excellent. We've spent a lot more at similar steakhouses and haven't had nearly the wonderful experience as we had here! Being seated by the manager was a nice touch. Prior to going, the only thing we knew was that it was attached to a Holiday Inn, which made us suspect and we thought we'd be severely disappointed. But since it got a good rating on Yelp we chanced it-- we're so glad we did! The cocktails were delicious and interesting. The wine list superb. We LOVED the salads that arrived "family style"- a Caesar and a mixed-greens salad choice. They came with homemade dressings that I wanted to drink from the bowls! Our steaks were cooked to our liking. I ordered the filet Oscar style and it was delicious! There were many choices of sides from which to choose. We ordered the whipped potatoes, asparagus, and the pepper cream sauce for my wife's filet and they were all yummy! Finally, we were given a free large slice of their "wedding cake" (vanilla cake with a phenomenal almond buttercream frosting) for dessert and devoured it! Don't hesitate going here. We think you'll enjoy it as much as we did!!”
“I walked here from one of the nearby hotels. I arrived just before a slight dinner rush. I was very impressed that my meal (a brisket plate with 2 sides) was brought to my table 2 minutes after I ordered it. It took me longer to walk here than it took to get my food delivered to my table.
I watched as multiple groups came in after me. I saw that every guest also received their food quickly and the servers were attentive to their guests.
Once the facility became mostly full with customers, I appreciated that the environment did not become loud. Each table had guests participating in conversations at their tables. While there was moderate noise from the people, it never really appeared much louder than when I originally arrived.
I look forward to my next opportunity to visit this location.”
“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 @sugarfiresmokehouse Alright, Lindsay, here, your vegetarian guide in the BBQ jungle of SugarFire Smokehouse in St. Louis. It's like a cat trying to write a review for a dog park. I get it. It makes no sense... but keep the faith 🙏 and keep reading 👇 First off, we get there and – bam – no ribs. The look on my husband's face? Imagine a St. Louis Blues fan watching their team miss an easy goal. Complete disbelief mixed with "Why, universe, why?" Then, the bread and pickles at the condiment station pulled a Houdini on us. Just gone. The restaurant decided not to refill them, which felt a bit like being left hanging for a high five. The brisket? Hubby says it was solid. The sauces, though, those were the stars of the show – St. Louis honey and hot were favorites. On the veggie front, the green beans were a nice surprise, like finding a $20 bill in your pocket. And the fried green tomatoes? Yum 😋 We had two girls with us, 12 and 13, and they were all in. It's tween-approved, so that's a win. The place had the vibe of a fun family BBQ, minus the awkward uncle jokes. The staff? Like the neighbors next door. Shouting across the driveway with a warm hello and conversational one-liners that make you laugh 😃 So there you have it, SugarFire Smokehouse gets a 4.5 from this cat in a dog park. 🌱🍖 #smokehouse #bbq #StLouis #mo #stlouismo #sugarfiresmokehouse #vegetarian”
“Beyond Sweet Kitchen & Bar in St. Louis is an absolute must-visit! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the inviting atmosphere and beautifully designed interior. The menu is a delightful blend of delicious dishes that cater to everyone’s tastes, and every bite is a testament to the quality and creativity of the chefs. Meeting the owner, Dallas, was the cherry on top of my experience. Her passion for food and commitment to customer satisfaction truly makes this place special. She was warm and engaging, and it was clear that she cares deeply about providing an exceptional dining experience. I indulged in several dishes, and each one was bursting with flavor—fresh ingredients elegantly combined to create unique culinary masterpieces. Pairing the meal with their carefully curated drink options was a highlight, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Our server Darius was also a joy! Beyond Sweet Kitchen & Bar isn’t just about great food—it’s a place where you feel welcomed and valued. I can’t recommend it enough! If you find yourself in St. Louis, make sure to stop by and experience the magic for yourself.”
“Ok, here’s the thing… I love food. And when I say I love food, you might think I’m a huge person or a food critic or a chef or just a dramatic fan. Well, I am actually an artist, and I… I can tell you in no uncertain terms, that the food we received was *high art.* I don’t mean the kind of pretentious high art food that is served in tiny portions and so beautiful that you almost don’t want to eat it. I mean that it was masterfully created—flavorful, textured to perfection, filling, and lamentable *only* in that I wish I’d had room for more. We started with the stuffed mushroom appetizer—which I’ll admit is not usually my favorite, but my wife generally loves—served upon a sprinkle of arugula and a slashed drizzle of balsamic glaze. Imma tell ya… I like stuffed mushrooms now. My wife ordered an entrée of eggplant Parmesan—one that she doesn’t care to make often for herself only because (and I’m quoting), “It’s a pain in the a$$ to cook.” I ordered linguine Pomodoro with added shrimp and had the steamed mussels appetizer served with my entrée, so that I could add them in (as I *do* love a tutto mare). Since my wife’s entrée was one of her favorites, and I don’t generally care for it, I left her to it, concentrating on my own. I shucked all the mussels and strained their accompanying shallots and bacon into my linguine leaving the garlic and cilantro pesto behind for bread dipping. OH [*clap*clap*clap*]—I forgot to mention the bread. They served a fantastic mini loaf of the softest bread topped with caramelized onions alongside fresh grated Parmesan in olive oil. Upon our finishing it off, I asked for a second helping. Back to the entrée… My first actual bite was of the mussels, and that bite was fantastic. Then I had one of the shrimp… and… here’s the thing… I am a poet, and I also write children’s books, so when I tell you that I simply do not have a superlative sufficient to describe the shrimp, you know I’m being serious. It was warm, seasoned, and snappy as shrimp should be, but it gave me pause—as Anton Ego in Ratatouille. * First, doubt—that I had experienced something so specifically wonderful before * Then, a quick scan from childhood to now for confirmation * And lastly, the comfort that can only come from those happiest memories of childhood—Christmas mornings on receiving more than you could ever have hoped for, Halloween nights’ preparations for what giggles and terrors were to come, and burrito-you ensconced in soft blankets straight from the dryer Then of course, the rest of the dish, twirled and slurped—not too quickly… every bite a confirmation and yet still a revelation. Here again, my only lament that I must see a portion of it boxed to leave room for dessert. And… dessert. Oh, boy… Seeing all of the items, my wife and I—in celebration of our 26th anniversary—decided on the sampler. Listen up, folks: flourless chocolate torta, crème custard napoleon, and gooey butter cake. JFC are you serious? Every bite more sumptuous—more scrumptious than the last. Every bit a reassurance that I will return. Our server, Chelsea, was commendable not only for her menu knowledge and sense of humor, but it’s not for nothing that she was absolutely on top of it with regard to my tea refills (which were many, as our dinner took place after a dehydratingly-busy workday for me). We will definitely be returning to Eleven Eleven, whereupon I intend to try a few different items, my palate then flooded with new sensations—new wonders… my only lament that I will not ever have that “first time experience” again.”
“We called and made a reservation as I wasn’t sure how busy it would be and I am glad I did. I knew walking in that we were in for a treat by the amount of people waiting and the amazing smells of good Italian food. The service was quick! We had our appetizers shortly after we ordered them. The calamari was delicious! Our meals were out in a timely manner as well. My daughters absolutely destroyed their manicotti and said it was the best they’d had! My scampi was probably one of the best scampis I have ever eaten. Loved the atmosphere and decor! We will be back on our next trip to St. Louis!”
“Strong argument for the best sushi in St Louis. We had the 10 course tasting menu from the social hour menu and it was incredible. The Isaan Hamachi was the best single bite of food I had in 2024. Remarkable clarity of flavor in everything.”
