“Attended a church conference in St. Louis and was recommended to check out this spot for some really good coffee — and it did not disappoint! ☕️ The coffee was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved it so much that we placed an order to have their coffee shipped to our home! Bonus — you can even choose your grind. This will definitely be our new go-to coffee shipment! 💛“

“Our family loved it. It’s a cute little place with delicious (and aesthetically pleasing)treats, and the employee was very friendly. There are tables, seating for 2 mostly, and K-pop which my daughter also loved. We’ll definitely return!“

“The building is super cool and has a historic, very classy vibe, plus a nice patio. It was packed with people and there was even a line outside, so they are clearly the trendy spot right now. Good luck to them, but the prices really make you wonder. Why does it have to be so expensive? After all, it’s bread.
Because they are doing so well, they almost seem a bit indifferent to running out of stock. They were nearly completely out of bread when I went, and I was only able to buy four small loaves. Later on, I found one of their loaves at a shop on The Hill, but it cost me $8.50. For a loaf of bread, that feels a bit excessive.
To the owners: it might be worth looking at places like France, Italy, or Spain, which are great examples of how to make amazing, healthy bread at a much more reasonable price.
But yes, why not? I still recommend giving it a try!“

“Ya know when you find a little sweet treat and then you can’t get it out of your mind? That’s Damn Fine only it covers the entirety of the menu. I’ve visited twice, I can’t stop thinking of the spinach artichoke hand pie and the brown butter apple fritter. The service is impeccable too, so friendly, great vibe, really great flow for a busy spot. I wish they opened early for work days but I don’t mind a late arrival once a week for these delights. Oh and the loaves of bread are a must bring home.“
“I love the various options. The food is amazing. The interior is beautiful and clean. Staff is friendly. The price point is worth the quality and experience!“

“My family has been going to OR for close to 15 years? Since they were at the original shop over in Clayton by the Schnucks.
I am SO EXCITED that they are moving close to my house in the Affton area. Just this morning (May 8, 2026) I checked at the new location and saw three signs on the windows with new shop hours and a couple of phone numbers! YAY!!!“

“Big Momma Cinnamon Roll & Blueberry lemon cinnamon roll > peanut butter cup bar > fauxstess > Maine Event (choc chip cookie) > red velvet cupcake > brownie > lemon bar > chai snickerdoodle cookie
The blueberry lemon cinnamon roll was superb! You could tell they used fresh, high quality blueberries on top of the cinnamon roll, and it was the perfect garnish on a
what was an already fantastic cinnamon roll. If I could review SweetArt solely for their cinnamon rolls, they are 100% worthy of a five star review. If you’re looking for a cinnamon roll in Midtown, there’s no better place to get it!
I didn’t get the same vibrant lemon experience in the lemon bar that I got with the blueberries in the blueberry lemon cinnamon roll, which was a little disappointing. And the snickerdoodle wasn’t quite as moist as I expected, but otherwise I thought everything I ate was very well made.
I generally don’t comment about the service at the bakeries I review, but the staff here was very friendly and helpful. In terms of service, I would definitely give the service five stars. The man working the counter even asked me which brownie and cinnamon roll I would like which is not something that I think anyone has ever asked me before at a bakery.“
“I like the variety of meals they offer. The “right bites” meals are usually very solid. I appreciate that they started offering more high-protein options for those with stricter diets. My only suggestion is that they should offer condiment packets outside of the package so we can pick based off of personal preferences.“

“Moving my reviews off Yelp. This one was originally published in 2016 but I was back multiple times. Great place!
I had never heard of this place before a yelp friend suggested we go there for lunch. Now that I know about them, I will certainly be back. In fact, I've already decided which of my customers will be my next lunch invite to the place.
I had a soup & sandwich combo. I was expecting a smaller portion of each that would add up to a whole meal. What I got was more like a whole sandwich and a bowl of soup with a fresh pretzel breadstick. Probably a meal and a half.
Everything was delicious! The au jus that came with their interpretation of a French dip was beefy without being overly salty. The bread was soft with a nice bit of chewiness. The beef was not the star of the sandwich and that was a little bit of a letdown. The high point though was the cheese. French dip is generally a very tasty sandwich but everything is better with brie! I also had their roasted red pepper soup. I probably should have consumed it first but I got really excited by the sandwich and that plan went right out the window. I did finish my soup and I enjoyed the salty, chewy breadstick very much. I ate more than I had planned to eat for lunch but everything was just so good!
A few quick observations:
* They seem to develop a line to the door at lunch. Go early, go late or plan to wait.
* Don't do the soup & sandwich unless you're really hungry.
* They have small brownies for a buck or so. I'm trying to avoid eating dessert with lunch these days but they were awfully tempting.“
“Small snack stand located next to the Conservation Carousel. They sell hot dogs, corn dogs, calzones, packaged ice cream treats, and other snacks and drinks. There is a small eating area nearby with some tables and chairs. Usually not a crowded spot, so it's a decent place to get a snack - or even lunch, if you want to avoide the Lakeside Cafe.“

“I come to WashU often for work, and Kaldi’s at Mid Campus Center has become a staple stop for me. It’s super convenient for a quick coffee or smoothie in between meetings. “Looking for a place to eat and get a bit of work done in the Central West End? This is it. It has a modern mid-century vibe with a lot of tables. It definitely gets crowded after 10 am on the weekends. Go early to get a spot. I enjoyed the breakfast plate, with sweet potatoes. They also have delicious smoothies. If you are looking for a Starbucks alternative and want more food options, this is your place.“
