“I visit this coffee shop every day I am close to it. The staff is friendly, the coffee is fantastic, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I have had all of their special drinks, I like the zebra mocha, but I keep going back to the dulche de Leche. I asked one of the staff, "What is good on the menu?" his repose was perfect, "it's all good. We have the best coffee in St. Louis". Dear Sr, I agree!“

“I love what they've done with the space and was very impressed with the food. The most beautiful and delicious avocado toast I have ever had. The iced chai latte was also good, and I adored the glassware it came with, including the glass straw. *That* is how you do eco-friendly with style and utility. (Looking at you, paper straws.) I will definitely be back to try additional menu items and enjoy the lovely patio overlooking the garden next door.“

“La Belle Vie hosted 40 of our friends and family as we celebrated the lives of my late parents. We do not live in St. Louis, but Diana made the planning very easy, giving lots of suggestions, and designating touch points. The amount of thought and kindness that Diana, Melissa, and Mark (and team) put into it really made the event that much more perfect! Our guests were very impressed by the variety of food available, and the seating and lighting were truly perfect for the mood of the event - cozy with love. I didn't have to stress about much, because the team had us covered. Thank you for such a wonderful experience for an emotional event!!“

Highly recommend the deluxe breakfast burrito if you are a meat lover. She only has turkey bacon turkey sausage etc but I’m telling you the deluxe w all of them combined gone buss every time. And that burrito is fat. In addition to that you got to try that Steak Stir Fry. Not going to put you to sleep but you will still be full. Also if I got the sweet tooth the desserts and ice cream gone hit. Turkey burger got motion. Turkey chili in fall/winter got action. Lastly service is impeccable. Safe environment family friendly. “My mom and I stumbled across this absolute gem when we were visiting the area last month. Their bagels are out of this world. My mom devoured the regular plain bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and capers; which she said was as good if not better than what she has had in New York. I have a gluten allergy, so decent, let alone edible bread products are hard to come by these days. Well my fellow gluten-free foodies, look no further for the most epic gluten-free bagel that will ever grace your taste buds. Their smoothies were also fresh and delicious. “Their lattes are wonderful! If you have a gluten allergy forget eating anything but maybe a cookie. Not allergy friendly and not great about substitutions or suggestions when changing up your order. A little rigid, however very good coffee. Having a few loaves of GF bread would be super easy! Most places have something on their menu for people with allergies, they do not.“

“This place has the BEST vegan Mac n cheese I’ve ever had in my life. I absolutely loathe vegan MNC normally, but after reading some reviews, my partner and I decided to split the Maya Angelou bowl. It came with MNC, friend chicken and a kale salad. The MNC was flawless. The kale salad was extremely tasty, and very interesting. I think it has some sort of miso dressing, and it’s unique. The fried chicken batter was gorgeous, but my one complaint was the soy chicken they use. It’s pretty bland and tastes a little weird, but the batter they use does make up for this. It was overall delicious. At almost $19 for the bowl, it was a little pricey, but when split between two people it worked out well. The aesthetic of the place is lovely and I was very happy to be able to support a loud and proud black-owned business. 10/10 will be back every time I’m in SL. Highly recommend!“
