Really enjoyed my meal and service was excellent Highly recommend!
We stopped for a bite before going to Magic House. My Tiramisu late was so good and the potatoes were to die for! Best part was my kids free chocolate chip pancake. We will be back for sure

The Pioneer Bakery Cafe (McArthur's Bakery) serves excellent food at reasonable prices. The omlet, cobb salad, pancakes, breakfast sandwich, and Breakfast Smash Burger are all good. Coffee is great, and the food is somehow even better. Desserts like pineapple upside down cake and gooey butter ice cream look phenomenal. Staff is friendly, attentive, and even warmed a Yeti cup with hot water before making a to-go hot latte. The atmosphere is comfortable and very comfortable inside. Customers order at the front and are supposed to clean their table after done, which some felt meant there isn't any service other than bringing out food. Chairs are hard and uncomfortable, but the bench is padded and feels ok. A great breakfast spot for downtown Kirkwood, this is an easy 10/10. The place was quiet on a Thursday at 11:30. Customers wish they lived closer.
