Delicious coffee and best Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies!
I don't usually write reviews, but after coming to Comet for a couple years I wanted to add five stars to their name. Service is provided by friendly hosts who always greet customers with a smile. There is something wholesome in seeing regulars return time after time again whether they are making a quick stop before work, savoring some alone time, or bringing the family in for pastries. The pastries have been highly praised, being considered one of the best patisseries in the St. Louis metro area. A chocolate croissant and the incredible-looking cookie dough croissant are must-tries. Parking can be inconvenient due to its city location. The espresso drinks are lovely, and the iced pumpkin latte has a subtle pumpkin taste, though some find it more milky than coffee-forward. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the place personable and great for studying or catching up with friends. Customers praise the excellent coffee, especially the specialty espresso drinks, and the croissants, which are buttery, flaky, airy, layered, and delicious.
