“Blue City Deli in St. Louis absolutely lives up to the hype! The line was wrapped around the building when we got there, but don’t let that scare you—it moved super fast. Their system is clearly dialed in and works perfectly to keep things flowing.

The staff was friendly and kept everything running smoothly. We tried the Chicken Shack Ranch and a turkey sandwich with extra veggies. Both were fresh, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. You can tell they care about quality.

The chip selection is really unique and fits the local St. Louis vibe perfectly!!Definitely worth checking out while you wait.

“I’m 78, travelled the world and these are the very best noodles and noodle dishes I have ever had. I doubt I will ever eat ramin or udon ever again. This is not a fancy sit down restaurant, it’s a Japanese noodle restaurant or social bar. The young lady receptionist/waitress was very welcoming and helpful. The cooks are hard working and friendly. “I love Up-Down STL! The games are 25¢ per game no matter the game. On Fridays they sell their giant slices (basically a quarter of a large pizza I think) for only $5 per slice and they gave lots of different flavors to choose from. I'm allergic to tomatoes and they even have choices I can eat. The games are fun and run great. The drinks at the bar are delicious. The vibe on the place is really fun.“

I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. We went to 3 places on this excursion and this one was my favorite. Why? Mainly because I could see myself spending a lot of time hanging out here. They have a great selection of beers, multiple seating areas (both indoor and outdoor), darts and a lot more. We sat outside for a while but moved into their loft area when the sun set.

I had 2 beers. The first was an American Pale Ale. It was slightly crisp and delicious. The second was their cask beer of the day or week. It was surprisingly creamy and rich in flavor.

Why only 4-stars? Mainly because it's 2016 and they are a cash-only business. Time to modernize!“

“I can’t believe I just discovered Cafe Miami! What a fantastic little spot. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of personality. I loved all the Miami-themed decor, colorful artwork, and quirky touches throughout the café. It felt like stepping into a neighborhood café in South Florida.

I started with a cortadito and a guava pastry, and both were outstanding. (Pictured!) The cortadito was rich, smooth, and perfectly sweet, and the guava pastry was flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious.

For food, I had the Cuban sandwich, which was soooo good! Combination of ham, pickles, mustard, and cheese was spot on. My partner also tried one of their breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese, and sausage, and it was equally impressive. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

The owners and staff were super awesome. Chatted with them a bit as I used to fly back and forth to Miami in summers, and was hooked on Cuban coffees and guava pastries! I’m so glad I found this place!

If you love Cuban coffee, authentic sandwiches, fresh pastries, and supporting local businesses, Cafe Miami is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for another cortadito and guava pastry!

“I went to Pizzeoli last night with a group of friends and had an amazing dining experience. We started off with the Deep Fried Chanterelles and Chili-kissed Garlic Knots - the chantrellles were delicious and came with a chili ranch sauce that I would love bottled for home use. The garlic knots were a cut above your normal pizza place fare - melted in my mouth and garlic to butter proportions were perfectly balanced. It should be noted that their drink menu is extensive (along with their pizza menu - so many great options!). I chose the Athletic Cerveza - a great Non-alcoholic beer that ranks as a personal fav. I also like that Pizzeoli had multiple NA options as a non-drinker. On to the main course - my group chose the Andy (a current special with white sauce and mushrooms), the Lumberjack Snack (pep and bacon on red sauce) and the Meatball pizza (as recommended per their chef - meatballs on white sauce!). All three were delicious and cooked to perfection - the right amount of bubbles in the perfectly thin curst. I kept trying to choose a favorite and couldn't decide - would personally recommend a white sauce pizza but the red was also awesome! The grand finale was a banana split dessert pizza and ice cream sandwiches. A hot dessert pizza with the perfect cool toppings, I'd stop in just for an after meal treat some time. The ice cream sandwiches were delectable and fun to share with the table too. The atmosphere of Pizzeoli transported me to a simpler time when going to a neighborhood pizza place meant a friendly staff, unique decorations (check out the light shades over the tables!) and quality craftsmanship. A new favorite - highly recommend!“
