“I’m 78, travelled the world and these are the very best noodles and noodle dishes I have ever had. I doubt I will ever eat ramin or udon ever again. This is not a fancy sit down restaurant, it’s a Japanese noodle restaurant or social bar. The young lady receptionist/waitress was very welcoming and helpful. The cooks are hard working and friendly. The selection is somewhat limited but just the kind of meals you will want to try again and again. 一番 Ichiban. (# 1)“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“First time and not the last time we dine here, God willing! 🙏🏼♥️🏁 Very busy place, but fantastic service, food, and experience! Josh answered the phone and was so helpful, friendly and welcoming! When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. “I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.“

“Written back in 2016 and moved here because I'm ditching Yelp. Hopefully they got the credit card thing sorted in the last decade.

We went to 3 places on this excursion and this one was my favorite. Why? Mainly because I could see myself spending a lot of time hanging out here. They have a great selection of beers, multiple seating areas (both indoor and outdoor), darts and a lot more. We sat outside for a while but moved into their loft area when the sun set.

I had 2 beers. The first was an American Pale Ale. It was slightly crisp and delicious. The second was their cask beer of the day or week. It was surprisingly creamy and rich in flavor.

Why only 4-stars? Mainly because it's 2016 and they are a cash-only business. Time to modernize!“

“We were in town (from the Twin Cities) for the 2025 President's Day Classic, and had Hogtown Smokehouse cater a team (and parents) dinner for 30 in our hotel. Rico was fantastic in helping us out. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try. “I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“

“The vegan pizza is SO DANG GOOOOOOD, I never thought I’d be able to have a good slice of NY style vegan pizza and Pizza Head definitely proved me wrong. Everything from the vegan pepperoni to the cheez sauce & crust - tastes like the real thing and my pizza dreams have again been reborn. The RANCH IS SO GOOD TOOOOO. And the vegan parm is such a great touch. Super friendly/helpful customer service as well and I love a good lowlight, chill atmosphere. 10/10 would highly recommend and plan to come back at least once a month to treat myself to a whole vegan pie. I recommend getting half vegan Mozz and half vegan cashew cheese - both are equally delicious. I am so impressed with this place, thank you Pizza head - you have a loyal customer in me 😊🙏🏻“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

The sushi was good as well. I also suggest getting the green tea icecream. Very subtle taste, creamy, and the after taste is where you get the green tea. The complimentary pineapple was wonderful and also a nice touch. Wonderful service and restaurant.“
