“We recently moved “locally” and Our trying out new restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised with “A’mis” Took Our four kids there for lunch today. The ENTIRE dining area was full, yet the short staffed staff did not miss a beat. Drinks filled, food brought out, they did forget silverware but They were SO busy and also so on top of it! Truly impressed as a former server and hostess back in the day. My kids finished the cheese sticks in less than 5 minutes. The fettuccini was amazing, and so was the New York style pizza. The house dressing is good as well. On top of that the wait staff was so friendly and kind to Us. You sometimes sadly get dirty looks bringing 4 kids under 13 into a restaurants alone, even if they are well behaved! We will be back!!! Thank-You!“

“I’m 78, travelled the world and these are the very best noodles and noodle dishes I have ever had. I doubt I will ever eat ramin or udon ever again. This is not a fancy sit down restaurant, it’s a Japanese noodle restaurant or social bar. The young lady receptionist/waitress was very welcoming and helpful. The cooks are hard working and friendly. “When I was traveling through St Louis, a friend introduced me to this place. The frozen custard is amazing and dare I say heavenly. So soft and creamy. It was a true treat. I love discovering and finding out about those wonderful neighborhood gems. I also liked that they had bench seats along one side of the parking lot underneath the trees for people to sit and contemplate the wonderfulness of life and Ted Dewes custard helps to get you into that space.“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

Don’t waste your money at Peel Wood Fire Pizza in Clayton unless you like overpriced soggy pizza, made that mistake once, never going there again now I know how good this place is. They were all delicious. I particularly liked how they doubled up the delicious corn tortillas. The exciting spice and the crisp onions or salad toppings made a savory meal. we will be returning! I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. “I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“We were in town (from the Twin Cities) for the 2025 President's Day Classic, and had Hogtown Smokehouse cater a team (and parents) dinner for 30 in our hotel. Rico was fantastic in helping us out. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try.
