“Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.“

“Maplewood Deli & Coffeeshop = an absolute local treasure. ☕️✨ Charming as heck, perfect location, and the space is laid out so well—cozy but not cramped, great size, and just a really inviting vibe whether you’re grabbing-and-going or hanging out for a bit. The menu has tons of solid choices (the kind where you want to try five things), everything we had was excellent, and the service? Truly top-notch. And you can feel the heart behind the place—the owner is hands-on, warm, and genuinely friendly. Also… it was busy today with a steady stream of customers, so I’m pretty sure the secret is officially OUT 👏 Highly recommend. “We loved the simple perfection of the sandwiches here. They don’t get too fancy with extra toppings or combinations, but the quality and selection is perfect. They have a classic array of sandwiches to choose from, and the 3 that we tried were great! The potato salad was also a nice compliment to the meal. My favorite sandwich that we tried was the Tommy. It was pretty busy so we had to have take out, but the food was still great.“

“We are in town visiting and found this spot, and we are so glad we did! Food was delicious, limited menu but locally sourced and delicious. The coffee was absolutely phenomenal! We sat at the coffee bar and loved watching them make the drinks. Overall great vibes, our server was incredible! Wish we had this in our hometown.“

“I’m 78, travelled the world and these are the very best noodles and noodle dishes I have ever had. I doubt I will ever eat ramin or udon ever again. This is not a fancy sit down restaurant, it’s a Japanese noodle restaurant or social bar. The young lady receptionist/waitress was very welcoming and helpful. The cooks are hard working and friendly. The selection is somewhat limited but just the kind of meals you will want to try again and again. 一番 Ichiban. (# 1)“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.“

“First time and not the last time we dine here, God willing! 🙏🏼♥️🏁 Very busy place, but fantastic service, food, and experience! Josh answered the phone and was so helpful, friendly and welcoming! When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. Looking forward to sharing this spot with some more loved ones 🙏🏼♥️🏁“

“Written back in 2016 and moved here because I'm ditching Yelp. Hopefully they got the credit card thing sorted in the last decade.
We went to 3 places on this excursion and this one was my favorite. Why? Mainly because I could see myself spending a lot of time hanging out here. They have a great selection of beers, multiple seating areas (both indoor and outdoor), darts and a lot more. We sat outside for a while but moved into their loft area when the sun set.
I had 2 beers. The first was an American Pale Ale. It was slightly crisp and delicious. The second was their cask beer of the day or week. It was surprisingly creamy and rich in flavor.
Why only 4-stars? Mainly because it's 2016 and they are a cash-only business. Time to modernize!“

“Gioia’s Winghaven is our go to for sandwiches! Always get the order correct, always timely service, always wonderful customer service, always delicious! The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. You’ve raised the bar so much, now everyone else is a disappointment.“

Antonio and his family are so amazing and the food was absolutely on point! We felt like family! “This place is so, so cool. My cousin took me out for dinner and I had never even heard of this spot. Wow, it’s such a beautiful and moody spot full of charm!! We had to wait 15 minutes for a booth but I didn’t mind because this place serves LOOKS. The decor was awesome! Everything from the stellar service, crispy and lacey smash burgers and gorgeous dining room(s) made me realize why this spot is always recommended to me. We were very happy with our food and it was under $50 for two people! Check out Golden Hoosier, you won’t regret it.“

“Awesome food, it was my first time ever hearing about and trying alligator cheesecake, but it is one of my foods now. Great service. The band that began playing around 8:30pm sounded like it was going to be a great time, but it was unfortunately time for us to leave. Only knock against it is the table we were sat at was directly under a heater, so we were all sweaty and felt we were getting slow cooked.“

“We were in town (from the Twin Cities) for the 2025 President's Day Classic, and had Hogtown Smokehouse cater a team (and parents) dinner for 30 in our hotel. Rico was fantastic in helping us out. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try. “I went here some time ago and ordered a few beers as part of some anniversary promotion they were doing. In my head I was thinking id get a couple tall boys or IPAs or something, but I was shocked to see the total at like $40-$50. I was freaked out until they pulled out these large wine bottles of beer.
They were delicious and well worth the money“
