“Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.“

“Maplewood Deli & Coffeeshop = an absolute local treasure. ☕️✨ Charming as heck, perfect location, and the space is laid out so well—cozy but not cramped, great size, and just a really inviting vibe whether you’re grabbing-and-going or hanging out for a bit. The menu has tons of solid choices (the kind where you want to try five things), everything we had was excellent, and the service? Truly top-notch. And you can feel the heart behind the place—the owner is hands-on, warm, and genuinely friendly. Also… it was busy today with a steady stream of customers, so I’m pretty sure the secret is officially OUT 👏 Highly recommend. “On our condensed Route 66 trip and we did not want to miss this! There is so much to pick from! You order outside and they have benches right outside the parking area to sit. There is also a gift shop right across the parking lot. I got a concrete mixer of chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry, and I added hazelnuts. It was so good! Don't miss out on this historical gem!“

“I’m 78, travelled the world and these are the very best noodles and noodle dishes I have ever had. I doubt I will ever eat ramin or udon ever again. This is not a fancy sit down restaurant, it’s a Japanese noodle restaurant or social bar. The young lady receptionist/waitress was very welcoming and helpful. The cooks are hard working and friendly. The selection is somewhat limited but just the kind of meals you will want to try again and again. 一番 Ichiban. (# 1)“

“Very fun place to go, already been multiple times. Easy place to meet people. They have loads of delicious beer, my favorite is the Breakfast Stout. All kinds of games, some are even competitive. My number 1 go-to bar in St Louis!

“First time and not the last time we dine here, God willing! 🙏🏼♥️🏁 Very busy place, but fantastic service, food, and experience! Josh answered the phone and was so helpful, friendly and welcoming! When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. Looking forward to sharing this spot with some more loved ones 🙏🏼♥️🏁“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.“

“Gioia’s Winghaven is our go to for sandwiches! Always get the order correct, always timely service, always wonderful customer service, always delicious! The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. “We stopped in to grab some breakfast because it was close to our VRBO rental and it had great Google reviews. My only complaint was they were out of sausage when we got there. But we just got the bacon breakfast sandwiches. We also ordered a tea and iced latte. Our food and drinks were very delicious! There were only 2 people working and they were busy so it took a little bit to get our food. But it was very good!“

“This place is so, so cool. My cousin took me out for dinner and I had never even heard of this spot. Wow, it’s such a beautiful and moody spot full of charm!! We had to wait 15 minutes for a booth but I didn’t mind because this place serves LOOKS. The decor was awesome! Everything from the stellar service, crispy and lacey smash burgers and gorgeous dining room(s) made me realize why this spot is always recommended to me. We were very happy with our food and it was under $50 for two people! Check out Golden Hoosier, you won’t regret it.“

“For a casual place this had one of the best waiters ever. It was this young guy that I didn't expect to be super attentive cuz Unfortunately The Stereotype is that they won't be. But he barely even had to talk to us he just anticipated our every need and fulfilled it and went on about his business. We didn't even have to ask for to go boxes.

“So the smash burger is great and the fries are cooked in what tastes like beef tallow, but that’s not what you’re here for. The beers are incredibly well-made and unlike anything else I’ve ever had before. This is one of the very few places where asking what their weirdest beer is might lead to you drinking something you can only find in a monastery text. Absolutely an incredible place with super knowledgeable staff who will help you navigate their beers.“
