“This place is the most welcoming, warm, full of good people dive bar I have ever been to in my life. Lots of pinball machines, wonderful bartenders and patrons, Dan-o's pizza if you get hungry. The pinball machines are half the cost. They are anywhere else that I've been to. The owners are amazing. And the people are such a great group of people. This place has been my home bar for 4 years and I don't see that changing. I always feel safe, welcome, and protected when I am in this bar. Highly recommend, especially if you are into pinball and punk rock“

“I’m 78, travelled the world and these are the very best noodles and noodle dishes I have ever had. I doubt I will ever eat ramin or udon ever again. This is not a fancy sit down restaurant, it’s a Japanese noodle restaurant or social bar. The young lady receptionist/waitress was very welcoming and helpful. The cooks are hard working and friendly. The selection is somewhat limited but just the kind of meals you will want to try again and again. 一番 Ichiban. (# 1)“

“I love Up-Down STL! The games are 25¢ per game no matter the game. On Fridays they sell their giant slices (basically a quarter of a large pizza I think) for only $5 per slice and they gave lots of different flavors to choose from. I'm allergic to tomatoes and they even have choices I can eat. The games are fun and run great. The drinks at the bar are delicious. The vibe on the place is really fun.“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. “I absolutely adore this place, and I’m completely shocked something like this exists in the St. Louis area! I had the vegan croissant and it was extremely delicious, very close to the vegan croissants I’ve had in France. I also got the cheesecake and it was absolutely amazing. It didn’t have any of the weird flavors some vegan cheesecakes have, and probably tasted closer to dairy cheesecake. I also had some macarons, but they seemed like they were a little older. There weren’t many in the case during my visit, and I saw a photo from someone else a few days after my visit that showed a full case, so I could only surmise they were less fresh. The flavors were good, but they were a little hard. Overall, this place is clearly a winner. The outside and the inside are decorated in such a nice and beautiful way. When I lived in St. Louis a short time about 20 years ago, I would’ve never imagined a place like this could have existed in the area. “Written back in 2016 and moved here because I'm ditching Yelp. Hopefully they got the credit card thing sorted in the last decade.

We went to 3 places on this excursion and this one was my favorite. Why? Mainly because I could see myself spending a lot of time hanging out here. They have a great selection of beers, multiple seating areas (both indoor and outdoor), darts and a lot more. We sat outside for a while but moved into their loft area when the sun set.

I had 2 beers. The first was an American Pale Ale. It was slightly crisp and delicious. The second was their cask beer of the day or week. It was surprisingly creamy and rich in flavor.

Why only 4-stars? Mainly because it's 2016 and they are a cash-only business. Time to modernize!“

“Gioia’s Winghaven is our go to for sandwiches! Always get the order correct, always timely service, always wonderful customer service, always delicious! The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. You’ve raised the bar so much, now everyone else is a disappointment.“

“We love Sugar & Slice! We have used them for birthday cakes in the past and we knew they would be best for our wedding cake. We just got married this past weekend in May and they did a fantastic job using our reference to build our cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. The texture was still soft and full of flavor. We can't recommend them enough. They also did an amazing spread of cookies and cinnamon rolls. “We were in town (from the Twin Cities) for the 2025 President's Day Classic, and had Hogtown Smokehouse cater a team (and parents) dinner for 30 in our hotel. Rico was fantastic in helping us out. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try. “Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.“

“My sister gifted my husband and I a gift card for Xmas. She works for three kings in south county another establishment with the same owners. The food and atmosphere at Three Kings is so great that we were thrilled to see they’d opened a Mexican restaurant as we love tacos! Just from walking up from the partying lot, I knew it would be great! The outside dining had lots of themed touches that were really nice! Soon as we walked in we were greeted and told of our wait time. we really appreciated that the hostess took our number and called us when our table was ready. We ended up sitting and waiting, we like to people watch :D the decor was gorgeous! I loved the succulent chandelier, the floral walls, the ceramic and the mosaic touches! All of their establishments are inviting and really create a nice atmosphere! Our server Charlie was friendly and knowledgeable regarding drinks and food! We each had a delicious margarita! The chips and salsa were fantastic! My husband ordered a smothered burrito and I opted for a taco plate. I was very impressed with the amount of options on the food especially for health conscious people- vegan, gluten free, etc! I loved that I could mix and match, I had a Baja fish taco and the vegan chorizo. Both were amazing! The slaw on the baja taco was sweet and crunchy! This was my first experience with vegan chorizo and it was the perfect amount of spicy! The plantains were delicious and basically became our dessert! We over indulged too much and skipped dessert, but we will be back soon so that we can order the Churros! Highly recommend checking out Tres Reyes and or Three Kings if you haven’t yet! I would love to know the kind of cheeses included in the box-they were delicious. And the meats and bread were top quality. Staff was so friendly and accommodating on a busy evening.“
