She told us about the specials and made them sound delicious and well worth our minimal wait - I would highly recommend you go here for all your special occasions!! “Good Italian style sandwich shop. They don’t make them like this much anymore. I ordered two sandwiches (enough to feed 2-3 people) both were good with no complaints. Not my all time favorite sandwich shop, BUT not to dang bad guys! Hands down better than any chain places in both quality and value. Tasty bread too. Which is a must for a good sandwich. I will definitely be back, while Zanti’s won’t replace my favorite sandwich shop that’s near and dear to my heart, this will be definitely be my replacement for Jimmy John’s and jersey mikes for sure! I suggest everyone make the switch if considering.”

“This was the first Penn Station I ever went to. My grandfather brought me here when he was still alive and it was great then! Still great now! The staff here is fantastic. Fast, courteous and attentive. Food is always great and the fact that they were playing Dolly Parton songs on the day she passed was nice too. Great location to introduce someone to Penn Station if they have never had it. Lots of room and great atmosphere.”

“Easily one of the top restaurants to try in STL. The dishes were well executed and the service timed everything perfectly. I would love to see the chef have a bit more creative license and split a some more from the upscale American tradition. Also... may need some more acoustic treatment for the space. But overall, it was a fun experience.”

“Excellent anchovy toast, and the shrimp was succulent and flavorful. The veal meatballs were dry and not seasoned well. I highly recommend the lemoncello tiramisu. It was moist, light and refreshing. Excellent spot for dinner and drinks with friends or a date.”
