I have always heard that Tony's has top notch service and food, so for Valentine's day my husband and I decided to give it a try. Upon arrival for my reservation I checked in with the Maitre D' who acted as if I was bothering him for existing. I assumed when he walked off after checking our name that our table was ready, so I followed him. Ordered to go. Food quality is great, taste is great. Definitely on the expensive side. Carpaccio is the best I’ve had in St.Louis, truffle oil is a genius’s touch. Duck fettuccine is amazing. Beef tartare is also pretty good, not much seasoning, raw beef of great quality, love the fish on the tartare!
