This used to be a great place. This time everything was terrible.Waiter was not attentive, Had to send my food back, pasta over cooked it came back like a soup, I had to dump the liquid into a bowl.My husband's lobster was like rubber. Our dinners didn't come out together, my wine came out with dinner. They all act like snobs. They saw the problem with food didn't even mention anything. You couldn't pay me to go back

I have always heard that Tony's has top notch service and food, so for Valentine's day my husband and I decided to give it a try. Upon arrival for my reservation I checked in with the Maitre D' who acted as if I was bothering him for existing. I assumed when he walked off after checking our name that our table was ready, so I followed him. Only to be met with something to the extent of I never said your table was ready, the other party just left. I decided to give him some grace because maybe they were just busy, but another two person party with the reservation at the same time came after us and were immediately seated. So, I waited and waited to no acknowledgement seeing several other parties, with older individuals, be seated. I was not greeted again and blatantly ignored until a person, who I later overheard was the owner, came over and checked on us. While the service did get better once we were seated I noticed many times that it seemed that the parties with individuals approximately under 35 were treated very differently service wise than older individuals. I actually heard another young party remarking about it in passing. I am generally understanding about slow service on holidays, but not when it seemed intentionally targeted towards only some parties. I sincerely hope that it was just a lapse due to the holiday.

The food was good, but I have a food intolerance and only found out after eating a substantial amount that they failed to remove the foods I can’t have (onion & garlic)

Ordered to go. Food quality is great, taste is great. Definitely on the expensive side. Carpaccio is the best I’ve had in St.Louis, truffle oil is a genius’s touch. Duck fettuccine is amazing. Beef tartare is also pretty good, not much seasoning, raw beef of great quality, love the fish on the tartare!

All of it. The service, decor, the ambiance, the noise level, and I haven’t even gotten to the amazing food. It’s a great place to celebrate.

Wow, where do I start? The restaurant is beautiful so that's a positive. Service was so sporadic. I think we had 3 or 4 wait people. Couldn't keep track of who our main person was. Food was so so at best. Tonys salad was bland. Nondescript really. My chicken dish had a lovely sauce, but very dry inside. Too thick of pieces. I was super excited to try the creamed spinach. First off, it was cold because the waiter forgot to bring it and second it had a funky flavor. Not sure what was in it , but not the kind of spinach I am used to. We told the waiter we had a birthday, and there was no offering of a dessert. Any restaurant, fancy or casual that we have ever been to has always presented a birthday dessert. Very disappointing. Overall, great space and mediocre overpriced food.

The best place to celebrate something special. The only 5 star family owned restaurant in St Louis (I don't count Al's anymore). They have their own unique touches too, the fine dining experience really is unique here. I love how they cook all the food table side. You may see flames when cooking dessert. The seafadt pasta is great. The pasta with clams. The diavola steaks. The scallop appetizers. The extra large shrimp. The huge lobster tails. The beautiful filet mignons. The amazing wine selection, it's the best in the city how could I almost forget that. Really, just give it a try for a special occasion. It really is something special and St. Louis should be proud

Great food, entire staff was top notch. I had the shrimp and lobster linguine which was fantastic, loved the garlic and portion was spot on. The shrimp appetizer was tasty. But stars of the show were the desserts. Truly enjoyed our time! The bananas flambé was incredible.
