“Gioia’s Winghaven is our go to for sandwiches! Always get the order correct, always timely service, always wonderful customer service, always delicious! The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. You’ve raised the bar so much, now everyone else is a disappointment.“

“Just wanted to say thank you to the very kind owners (I think they were the owners). Today while my husband and I were quickly visiting STL, we decided to stop here to get lunch. One of the owners saw me waiting for my husband outside with my dogs and let me come inside with them to protect them from the heat (they also got them water and cheese). Thank you so so much for your kindness and hospitality. This is something I'll remember forever. Also the food is great too! I'll definitely recommend this deli to any of my friends going to STL.“

“I've been enjoying Carl's deli frequently for 12 years and have always left happy but stuffed! The hot pastrami on hoagie IS THE BEST in St. Louis and the staff working there are the nicest folks you'd ever want to meet! Highly recommended!!!“

“We love their loaded sub! I raved about it so much that my husband decided to try it, which is completely out of the norm. Now, we travel from about 20 miles away just for these great sandwiches! I should tell you I'm not a huge sandwich fan, so this says a lot. The bagels are fantastic also, and I am a very particular about needing chewy bagels. The carrot cake cheesecake was also excellent, but it truly is not cheesecake. it is simply carrot cake but it's very good!“

“My go to sandwich shop/deli in the city. I have never had a bad sammy or bad service here. There will be a line but it moves fairly quickly. Grab a cookie and thank me later. The selection of drinks is top notch because they carry excel brands. Looking for a great sammy in the city this is your place.“
