“Stellar Hog is always our go to for BBQ! So much so that we had our wedding reception there. Carnivore or vegetarian… there is something for everyone! Great patio, great dinning room (sometimes with live music), cold drinks, and amazing food… what more could you ask for?“

“Let's get the covid stuff out of the way first: no one wears masks, staff or customers. I'm vaccinated fully so I'm not as worried but just a heads up. Now onto the other stuff: this is the definition of a dive bar. But it's not bad at all, has a good neighborhood feel. Drinks are priced well ($4 for an Incarnation for example) so it's definitely cheaper than say, CWE. PEOPLE DO SMOKE INSIDE, you have been warned. The only cons are the Covid protocols & smoking inside. They have the doors open to outside though on nice days so it's not too bad. They also have a pretty dope patio. I think I'm the youngest in here at 37 TBH.“

“I swear some of the reviewers of this place must have honey bees nesting in their skull. On a recent trip to Saint Louis my family burned through $400+ at Union Station and the City Museum: both cacophonous petri dishes that stretch the definition of "aquarium" to its absolute limit. Rockwell Beer Garden was a welcomed respite. This is an establishment in which you can buy and drink beer, outdoors, within a large and pristine park with ample free parking and a giant playset to which you can send your kids off to in order to enjoy a fleeting moment of peace.Don't want to wait for pizza? Bring a picnic. IT'S IN A PUBLIC PARK. I am sorry that the generously priced beer doesn't immediately materialize in your glass as soon as you finish it. While you wait in a (short) line, perhaps gaze up at the sky and listen to the wind gently blowing through the trees, instead of contemplating the content of your single-star review.I challenge Google to add a sixth star.“
